This great monument has been renovated. Look at the in 😃

🙂 We’ve completed the renovation of the Sidney Cooper Weston Fountain in Folkestone.

🖌️ The work included welding repairs to the globe mounts and iron scroll details, repainting the structure, adding LED light fittings and resurfacing the footpath.

🌳 Supported by the community, our grounds maintenance team has also tidied up nearby hedges to improve site lines.

📆 An event to celebrate the centenary of its relocation is being held tomorrow (21 May) between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
