Brand spanking new 3 Ton Swivel dumper on hire. Hydrostatic, best ergonomics of any dumper, and a great skip shape. I really do rate these dumpers.
My one criticism is it needs more power! I know to stay below the DPF requirements means it has to run a smaller engine than they used to, pre stage 5. But maybe adjusted gearing might help as even empty, she’s not keen on making forward progress at any speed in the mud.
And cycle times are important on a dumper. More loads moved = more money earned.
Anyone else had this issue with modern dumpers?

Tree planting this week.🌳 One machine to excavate pits, carry bulk bags of shingle and sub soil into the hole, and lift the tree into its final home.
No need for a telehandler, mini excavator or dumper.
Plus I can drive to the site, saving transport costs and making a very cost effective solution to an otherwise expensive hire heavy process.

This is probably the most profitable setup you can get. One trailer, two machines, a mixer and a wheelbarrow.
Not much you can’t tackle with this lot. And for £20k ish investment, it has a very good returns rate. Especially when you consider how expensive the bigger machines have got now!
