'A Carol Service Invitation'
(With apologies to Clement Clarke Moore)

'Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the town,
Excitement was stirring, not a soul wearing a frown.
The candles were lit in St. Mary's with care,
In hopes that the choirs soon would be there.

The students were nestled, their voices prepared,
For carols of wonder, a program well-shared.
With Rutter and Sussex, “O Little Town” too,
“Once in Royal David’s City” for you.

The organist’s fingers would dance on the keys,
While harmonies rose to the rafters with ease.
Year 7 would sing, with the Main Choir in tow,
Filling Walton with music that sets hearts aglow.

So gather together on December eighteen,
At 4 o’clock sharp, a sight to be seen!
In St. Mary’s Church, Walton, we’ll celebrate cheer,
And the joy of the season, with those we hold dear.

No tickets are needed; just come and delight,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Yesterday we attended a cheque presentation event at Deben Fields, where Group raised an incredible £4,903.98 for Level Two Youth Project

We were absolutely blown away by the amount raised. As a charity offering free services to young people across Felixstowe, we rely on charitable donations like this, and we are extremely thankful for the support.

This generous donation will help us further develop our services, including improvements to our music studio and intervention work.

Are you free today (Tuesday) at about 4pm? :D We'd like to invite you to listen to the amazing Laura Locke on Felixstowe Radio as she interviews Alan Muchal from the Felixstowe Fairtrade Forum on the themes which they have in common with our work (eg a focus on community-based environmental concerns, climate change, youth involvement etc) :D So please listen to Laura's interview, and tell us what you think about collaborative projects between our organizations :D In saying all this, please take every opportunity to buy Fairtrade products when ever possible :D
