🍃Nousbo and SK leaveo Sign MOU to commercialise biodegradable controlled release fertilizers 🍃

🟢 Nousbo, which was listed on KOSDAQ in 2022 based on its CRF production technology, holds a sigmoid-type CRF technology that adjusts fertilizer release according to the growth curve of crops. The CRF produced by Nousbo significantly reduces labour compared to more conventional fertilizers that require multiple applications. It also reduces the amount of fertilizer used, preventing salt damage, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and decreasing river water pollution.

⏰ It's time for another from World Fertilizer!

🌍This week we are looking back at an article from our March 2022 issue, where Urvi Mathur, NEELAM AQUA & SPECIALITY CHEM, explained how the use of enhanced efficiency fertilizer can help the world achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

💬 "By even making the slightest change to enhance the efficiency of mineral fertilizers that are widely used there will be a huge impact on the global issues of world hunger, climate change and poverty.
Bill Gates once said fertilizers "are a magical innovation that's responsible for saving millions of lives from hunger and lifting millions more out of poverty by boosting agricultural productivity". The agricultural industry, accounting for millions of lives, requires innovation of its key elements, such as fertilizer; doing so will have a significant, positive impact in adressing climate change and food insecurity".

🦉 In need of some ? Then look no further as World Fertilizer has got you covered!

🍃 This week we are drawing on some wisdom from our new May/June issue, where James Byrd, JESA S.A, discusses the management of fluorine in phosphoric acid plants.

💬 "As time moves forward, environmental concerns are gaining more attention, forcing industrial producers to make considerations for both greenfield and brownfield projects. The term ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) has become a more well-known term since the UN report titled 'Who Cares Wins' was released. The report was funded from a compendium of financial institutions with the intent to secure a more sustainable future. Funding for future projects will likely have requirements for ESG components. This article addresses one such point for phosphoric acid producers and culminates with the introduction of a new technology to enhance sustainability in the phosphate industry."

⏰ It's at World Fertilizer today!

🍃 This week we are heading all the way back to our November/December 2022 issue, where Zico Zeeman, EMT Manufacturer of Blending, Bagging and Transport Equipment for the Fertilizer Industry, examined the factors that should be considered when choosing systems and equipment for warehouse filling, blending and bagging.

💬 "Even though there are numerous fertilizer handling and blending companies around the world, not one perfect format is available that would be the optimum fit for all warehouses worldwide.
This is mainly due to the various external market differences around the world. However, whether the incoming product is in bags, trucks or boats, and whether the required capacity is 30 or 5000 tpd, it is imperative for fertilizer manufacturers to adjust their intake and handling systems to fit their specific circumstances.
Understanding input and output product flows, internal handling requirements, and the possible technical solutions, will help efficient and future-proof factories to be set up. "
