Taylor-Wharton, a subsidiary of Air Water America Inc. and provider of cryogenic equipment, has partnered with GenH2, a supplier of liquid hydrogen technology, to introduce a zero-loss hydrogen storage solution.

Under this partnership, Taylor-Wharton will incorporate GenH2’s controlled storage technology into its liquid hydrogen (LH2) bulk storage tanks.

Novelis Inc., a sustainable aluminium solutions provider and leader in aluminium rolling and recycling, has announced that it has successfully tested using hydrogen fuel to power a recycling furnace at its UK plant in Latchford, Warrington.

The tests were carried out as part of a UK government decarbonisation programme in collaboration with Progressive Energy, an independent UK energy company, and required the installation of new burners, regenerators, and furnace lining material.

Hydrexia Singapore Pte Ltd, (Hydrexia), a global hydrogen technology solution provider, and Yamato H2Energy Japan (YamatoH2E), a system integrator and project developer of hydrogen in Japan, jointly announced that the two parties have reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU outlines the intents and the scope of work by both parties to jointly collaborate to serve the needs of the Japanese hydrogen market by leveraging their respective technology and market strengths.

AMBARtec AG and Purem by Eberspächer intend to cooperate closely in the production of iron nugget tanks and their integration into 20 ft containers for the efficient and safe storage and transport of hydrogen.

The CEO of AMBARtec, Matthias Rudloff, and Benjamin Brenkel, Executive Vice President Business Unit Europe of Purem by Eberspächer, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect in Esslingen on 11 February 2025.

GreenGo energy has secured the signing of its first African agreement, marking a pivotal step in the company’s mission to advance the global green hydrogen economy.

The agreement, signed by Mohamed Khaled, Minister of Energy and Petroleum and Karsten Nielsen, CEO of GreenGo Energy, grants GreenGo Energy access to more than 100 000 ha. of land near Nouakchott, Mauritania, to develop the transformative Megaton Moon Green Hydrogen Project.

On the 13 February 2025, the European Commission approved an additional €111.7 million funding support from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility allowing Motor Oil to expand the capacity of its existing renewable hydrogen project to 7500 tpy and to build vital infrastructure in order to establish a hydrogen market in Greece starting in 2026.

The City of Oulu, Finland, and French company Verso Energy have signed a co-operation agreement at the Northern Power forum aiming to build a hydrogen processing plant in Oulu.

Verso Energy intends to construct a plant with a yearly production capacity of 80 000 t of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The estimated value of the project is €1.4 billion, and it is expected to create 250 jobs.
