To my Wyre Valley muck boots, for years we have roamed together as one. From wading through pink krill-filled poo pools of Adélies in Antarctica, to cowpats for Countryfile, we have had many filming adventures of all types and terrains. Alas, after 10 over years of harsh environments, UV damage and constant flex, your joints are worn and your rubber is perished, but your neoprene inside still remain as comfy as the day we met. Your fit is like a hand to a glove, but today we must sadly part before another day goes by that I feel something sticky between my toes that also offends my nose 💩🤢

I acted as multi-camera supervisor and operator on behalf of solo16 Broadcast for ITV Daytime show Loose Women, which aires on Monday, April 22, from 12.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX to coincide with Earth Day. I've not been to the Eden Project for years, so it was such a joy to be back in the humid rainforest biomes and have a brief catch up with presenter Michaela Strachan whom I've had the pleasure of working with on Channel 5 Swimming in Sewage: Britain's Water Scandal. Read more about this Loose Women episode at the solo16 Broadcast blog at https://www.solo16.co.uk/post/loose-women-goes-green-with-solo16
