Polish death metal legends, Decapitated, will headline Damnation’s Night of Salvation event with a world exclusive performance of The Negation.
The unique set, which will be hosted at BEC Arena, Manchester, on Friday, November 1, will mark the 20th anniversary of the album. They will then close the stage with a selection of “classic hits” spanning their back catalogue.
While US hardcore icons, Sick Of It All, will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their masterpiece, Scratch The Surface, with a UK exclusive album set.
Not to be outdone on the Lou's Brews Main Stage, Austrian party thrashers, Insanity Alert have concocted a one-off setlist compromising of S.O.D. covers from Speak English Or Die and their own Moshemian Thrashody EP, with takes on George Michael, Iron Maiden, Queen and Guns N Roses anthems.
Decapitated’s Vogg said: "I'm thrilled to announce that we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of our third album with a special performance at the Damnation's Night of Salvation.
“We'll be playing the entire album along with other classic hits. This record holds a special place in my heart, and the memories associated with it are both dark and wonderful. Join us for this magical night!”
Insanity Alert added: “Everybody ready for a Moshemian Thrashody? We’ll take you on a super weird and hard-slammin‘ voyage.
“Speak English or Die, Bruce! Welcome to the moshpit, Freddy! Are you p***y whipped, Axl? George, did you kill yourself? Ah f**k it, crossover and go!”
On the black metal focussed Cult Never Dies Stage, MIZMOR, Fen and Underdark are the first stunning trio to be announced.
And on the new Pelagic Records Stage is a selection of some of the label’s most exciting talent, including LLNN , HIPPOTRAKTOR and Sugar Horse.
Crushingly heavy Danish outfit LLNN said: “We're looking forward to hitting you with some Unmaker prime cuts, some older songs, and also unveiling new material... you won't have seen us play this set before."
Organiser Gavin McInally said: “Legendary death metal, a historic slice of hardcore and a party thrash set you couldn’t make up if you tried. Our main stage is off to an incredible start and we’ve got more to follow.
“We’ve been promising black metal fans something special and Mizmor fits the bill with a show on his first visit to the UK, while Fen and Underdark are two of the most popular homegrown black metal acts we have.
“When Pelagic Records came on board as a partner for our third stage, it was a success before the first band was picked as they just don’t miss.
"That said the combination of LLNN, Hippotrakor and Sugar Horse is a fine example of the diverse talent on the label’s roster.”
