Saw this post by SZA and I’ve been there before—sending my music to radio stations, blogs and people, only to get responses telling me to stop or remove them from my email list. I’ve heard people close to me doubting if I’d ever make it, and others throwing dirt on my name when I wasn’t even around to defend myself.

Being an artist comes with its own challenges, and most people only see the tip of the iceberg. They don’t see the late nights, the sacrifices, or the internal struggles that come with chasing your dreams.

At one point, I thought I needed connections to be heard or to make an impact. But the truth is, the only connection I ever needed was God. He has orchestrated my story in ways I could never have imagined. And trust me—what God has ordained, no man can stop.

This journey hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has made the victory even sweeter. To say, “God, we made it!” is the most fulfilling feeling in the world. Never stop trusting Him, even when the odds seem impossible. Keep pushing, because your story is still being written.

Hate is something I don’t think anyone ever fully gets used to. One thing I’ve had to accept about putting myself out here is that the internet can be ruthless, and not everyone is going to like you. It’s not easy—sometimes, even after seeing a thousand positive comments, one negative one can mess with your head. I’m human, too, and I’ve felt that sting.

But I’ve realized that holding onto that negativity only hurts me. Instead of letting it fester, I’ve learned to either delete, ignore, or, more importantly, reframe those moments. When I come across hateful comments, I remind myself that most of the time, people are going through their own struggles, and lashing out is their way of coping. I choose not to carry their pain as my own.

Now, I use negativity as an opportunity to grow. I ask myself: “Is there any truth in this that I can use to improve?” If not, I let it go. Instead of reacting with anger or frustration, I choose kindness because you never know what someone else is going through.

Negativity doesn’t have to stop you—it can shape you into someone stronger and more compassionate. When you rise above it, you’re not just helping yourself; you’re setting an example for others, too. Stay kind. Stay positive. You have the power to turn hate into something meaningful.

The highs never got the applause they deserved, and the lows came with tough lessons, discipline, and some deep self-reflection. It hasn’t been an easy ride—there’s been pain, setbacks, and moments that tested everything in me. But through it all, I’ve grown. I’ve learned to let go of what doesn’t serve me, and I’ve kept that fire burning to always get better.

In my heart, I already see myself as one of the greatest, even though the road to true greatness stretches far ahead. But every single day, I show up with faith and the spirit of a warrior, because no challenge is bigger than the bravery God placed inside me. 🫂🖤

Allow me to reintroduce myself! My name is Paul Payne837. I was born for greatness and never a copy!

Nobody Cares! Work harder 🫂❤️

Grief is deeply personal, and everyone processes it differently. It’s not something you can rush or ‘move on’ from overnight.

When someone loses a loved one, they need time and space to feel, reflect, and heal. Offering unsolicited motivational speeches or dismissive comments only adds to their burden.

Let’s remember that emotions are human, not gendered. Men, too, have every right to cry and express their pain. Instead of judging, let’s offer compassion and understanding. Sending strength and prayers to you during this difficult time. 🫂❤️
