Creating music is like exposing my soul. Every time I sit down to make a new song, a wave of anxiety washes over me—doubts and questions crowd my mind. Is this song better than the last? Will people love it, or will they say it falls short? I worry that my writing is weakening, and I even question if I’m staying true to my craft.

When I leave God out of the lyrics, I wonder how the Christian community will respond. Sometimes, I even think about holding back, scared that it won’t be received well.

Yet, in the midst of these overwhelming thoughts, I remind myself that the journey to greatness is never easy. Obsessing over every tiny detail can paralyze the creative process.

I know that not every song will resonate with everyone, but if even one or two people find a piece of themselves in my music, that connection means everything. I’ve learned to embrace the love that does come my way, understanding that I can’t please everyone.

My focus remains on the passion that drives me, with faith as my guiding light—always keeping God at the center of my purpose.
