Our Global Radio gig broadcasting The Iain Dale Show for LBC from the Offbeat studio all week has been cancelled.

Iain was in hospital suffering from Gall Bladder issues so had to cancel his appearances at his Fringe Show.

Back in the studio again with Tilda Swinton recording ADR dubbing for The End, an upcoming apocalyptic musical film directed and co-written by Joshua Oppenheimer.

So grateful Tilda has involved Offbeat again as a wee cog in the wheel of another phenomenal movie project.

The film is slated to premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Recorded a VO for a short BBC TV feature on THE ONE SHOW for Chalk Productions on the subject of Moths Vs Wasps. Apparently a non stinging wasp variety can EAT the larvae of moths so that they don’t EAT your clothes!

Offbeat recorded Andrew Rothney’s amazing voice for the spectacular grand opening for this years Edinburgh International Festival with Director / Writer Simon Sharkey.

The film will be projected onto the George Heriot Building with a performance by Karine Polwart and a choir from 2nd to 4th August.

Recording some leading conservationists and wildlife experts for the Bright White audio listening posts at Highland Wildlife Park yesterday for RZSS (Royal Zoological Society of Scotland). Fascinating stuff and very nice to get out of the studio!

Eye popping sessions with Riot Games! Isla Campbell, an exciting young new talent, takes on the role of Clove, a new Scottish character in the video game VALORANT. The Riot Games team directed the character from their team in LA while we recorded Isla down the line from Offbeat to the Liquid Violet studio in London, with an in-person session with producer Tony Grinage last year. It's always amazing to be involved in incredible collaborations across borders and time zones. Can't wait to see what's in store for the future of Clove!

Recently had the pleasure of editing and mastering the audiobook of Ajay Close's novel, "What Doesn't Kill Us". The audiobook was recorded and produced in Leeds by Emily Zurowski and narrated by Molly Hannan. It was a joy to work on this project and be a part of bringing this story to life.
