Svend-Erik Engh at Offbeat Studios ✨
We had the pleasure of hosting Svend-Erik Engh at Offbeat Studios Edinburgh for a BBC Radio 3 interview on his book Danish Folk Tales.
This fascinating collection of 27 stories explores Denmark’s rich folklore, from Viking legends to fairy tales, capturing the deep emotions of its flatlands, fjords, and forests. Having lived in Denmark for nearly 60 years, Svend brings a unique perspective to these timeless tales.

Delighted to have Evelyn Hollow back in the studio for a spooky special Halloween episode of the hit BBC show Uncanny with Producer Danny Robins. We were also involved Danny’s previous series, The Battersea Poltergeist, also for BBC Radio 4.

Evelyn Hollow is a double academy award winning Scottish writer and paranormal psychologist.

Our Global Radio gig broadcasting The Iain Dale Show for LBC from the Offbeat studio all week has been cancelled.

Iain was in hospital suffering from Gall Bladder issues so had to cancel his appearances at his Fringe Show.

Back in the studio again with Tilda Swinton recording ADR dubbing for The End, an upcoming apocalyptic musical film directed and co-written by Joshua Oppenheimer.

So grateful Tilda has involved Offbeat again as a wee cog in the wheel of another phenomenal movie project.

The film is slated to premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Recorded a VO for a short BBC TV feature on THE ONE SHOW for Chalk Productions on the subject of Moths Vs Wasps. Apparently a non stinging wasp variety can EAT the larvae of moths so that they don’t EAT your clothes!
