We already shared a taster of Bethany & Cameron’s three day wedding extravaganza, and here is another glimpse into the second day - the beautiful Jewish wedding ceremony at medieval Borthwick Castle followed by a moving operatic soloist performance at equally historic Rosslyn Chapel. Our couple had a sparkly send off to finish the evening.

If you want a moody Scottish landscape that brings home the coziness and warmth of a wedding celebration then the Scottish Borders are just the place, and Cairns Farm Estate is in a particularly beautiful setting. For us, capturing a wedding is about the happiness and fun of the couple interacting with their family and guests, and as you can see from Jay & Kim’s wedding, there was bucketloads of joyous moments which we just had to film.
Not surprisingly for a Scotland in winter, there was bucketloads of rain too, which along with the philosophical sheep, just added to the atmosphere and brought home the warmth of the company.

A short film we produced alongside the images during a branding shoot for The Wedding Fairy - a wedding planner extraordinaire who wants to bring fun back into weddings.
We worked with Katherine on numerous wedding days before so when she got in touch with us about shooting some promo imagery for her new brand we jumped at this opportunity to create something uniquely for her! The beauty of the setting, the approach and the vision that Katherine brings to life is well reflected in her wedding planning business name - she truly is The Wedding Fairy!
