Are Locking Tuners really necessary?

I believe Split Post Tuners are superior in every way; they are quick, lock the string without additional moving parts, are less likely to fail, and are cheaper than their Locking counterparts.

THIS Guitar Always Surprises Me!

I genuinely thought I was playing a Prestige Ibanez AZ that cost almost £2000, but after I checked the model number, I was shocked to discover it was a Standard model retailing for under £500!

BOSS have announced their latest compact pedal - SDE-3 Dual Digital Delay.
This is a DSP recreation of the legendary '83 rack delay, the Roland SDE-3000.

Science of Loud will be covering this in full, with a detailed history of digital delay units in a few weeks time, but for now enjoy this little taster featuring a classic Cyndi Lauper guitar line.
