CHRISTMAS PARTY 2024!🎄

The festive season has finally arrived and we are thrilled to invite you and your guests to come along and celebrate with us at this years Edinburgh Jam Group 2024 BIG Christmas Party!!! 🎉 🎅

Taking place this year at Symposium Hall, Surgeons Quarter on Friday 6th Dec, it’s going to be a night filled with all the EJG Christmas Vibes you have come to expect including a buffet and prizes.

It’s the perfect opportunity to let loose, bust some shapes, and spread the holiday cheer with your fellow musicians and music enthusiasts.

FRIDAY JAM 🎶

Ahead of our open jam at Malones next week, we’ll be opening the studio on 15th November from 6.30pm.

Come and hang out with some musicians, chat about music, play some tunes and get some tips and let some new ideas develop.

We’re all about collaboration and community at Edinburgh Jam Group and this might be the place you meet your future band mates, it’s happened before!

We're taking our jam on the road 🚗

Not too far though, we're sticking in Edinburgh and we're taking over Malones in Leith on the 21st November from 7:30pm till midnight for an open Jam.

We'll have all the equipment set up and ready to go so bring yourselves and sign up and get making some music! Whether you're a regular jammer or this would be your first, come along, meet some musicians and have a great Thursday night.

Open Jam Friday 18th October 🎵

We're back again with another open Jam this Friday! Come along and have a great night making some music with a bunch of other musicians.

No matter your skill level come and meet some new people, collaborate on some pieces and chat all things music in a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure.

Easy access from Central Edinburgh via buses, and a free car park if you'd prefer to drive.

It’s PRS for Music payment day! 💰

This is the second out of four distributions of 2024.

Over £177 million in royalties have been paid out to PRS Members today, with 800 members receiving them for the very first time.

What is PRS?

PRS collects and pays royalties when their members' music is played in public, broadcast, downloaded, streamed, or performed within the UK and around the world. Membership costs a one-off fee of £100; or £30 if you are under 25. You can join online at any time.
