Hi everyone,

My passion project, The Flat Earth, is finally being released upon the world. It is launching on 31st of May Sneaky Pete's with support from Midi Paul.

The project Doom Scroller consists of myself, Alex Palmer and Scott Bathgate. These two are some of the most impressive and excellent musicians I have ever worked with and I am honoured to have created this album with them.

Shout out to my brothers in New Teeth for all the support and work put into getting this out there.

'As the Crow Flies', see's Alex Auldsmith (Doom Scroller, The Micro Band), utilise his skills as multi instrumentalist with a straight forward, heartfelt love song written to his partner.

"..In this song I allowed myself to simply let the music and lyrics emerge without filtering myself. The song has echoes of songs I wrote in my youth. It’s simplicity and straight forward nature is what made me chose to release it"

Written and recorded in the faded grandeur and isolation of Crowmallie House in Pitcaple, the song's straightforward production, reverberates like it's pure intention

'As the Crow Flies', is his latest in his solo release catalogue.

mething happens” is a project forged over three continents, over three years by two very different musicians.

James and Tim met accidentally twice, then another time less accidentally on the opposite side of the world. Both from different circles and disciplines, drawn to each other through a shared sense of isolation and the natural urge to create. 'Something Happens' is a patchwork of raw Americana, cinematic synths, blurred memories and communal joy.

An ominous tale of collaboration, coincidence and common ground the EP drags the listener on a journey across oceans, through pubs and into an exciting musical world.
