Yesterday at around 9:00AM police were called to Bevois Valley Road after a report of a pedestrian was hit by a Bluestar bus,

A man in his 50 has been taken to hospital and is believed to be in a life threating condition after he was struck and hit by a bluestar bus in Bevois Valley just on the outskirts of Southampton City Centre the man had been taken to hospital and is now fighting for his life, We do hope he dose make it through and has a speedy recovery, The incident happened between Kingsbury Road and Bevois Hill. the Road has been mainly shut thought out the day and opening again at around 5:23PM

Bluestar and Hampshire police are to carry out their investigations into what happened, if anyone dose have any information or CCTV or footage of the incident happening are urged to contact police online or on 101 quoting 44230388465.

Bluestar have also released a statement into the incident

“A Bluestar bus was involved in an incident with a pedestrian earlier today on Bevois Valley Road.

“At this stage, the circumstances behind the event are unclear but the safety of our colleagues, passengers and other road users is a high priority and we are cooperating fully with the Police as they carry out their investigation.

“Our primary concerns right now are supporting our driver, and for the wellbeing of the pedestrian involved. We understand the pedestrian is currently in a very serious condition in hospital. Our thoughts are with them and their family.

“We wish them a full and speedy recovery and will be monitoring their progress very carefully.”

Police were called to the crash just before 9am.

They are appealing for witnesses to come forward as "lots of people" were in the area at the time.

Former Special Constable Stephen Miller, 51, of Foster Road, said: "I was indoors when I heard sirens. I'm on my way to the South Hants Hospital and just happened to look up the road, which is when I saw the bus. I just feel sorry for the driver."

But we also hope driver who was involved is alright as well as we can imagine is very shock up by the incident and hopes he alright and makes it through, We can imagine at the moment the driver is being cared for by Bluestar management and is likely receiving counselling

Now we all urged everyone to not to jump conclusions into what happened especially if you wasn't there when it happened and to please wait whilst both Bluestar & the police carry out their investigations,

We also urged everyone to not make or post any memes about the incident on our discord or any of our social media pages and ask everyone to be respectful at this current time to both the families of the person who was hit as well as to the driver who have both been very shaken up by this incident

Great news for Bluestar & Unilink

We also glad to announce we will also consider doing the depot as part of the many depots in Southampton bus sim

We will more look at it and start development once we're able to get a tour down there!

Please do be patient with us while we sort this out

A new home for Bluestar and Unilink!

Formerly owned by First Bus, our depot in Empress Road provides Bluestar and Unilink with a new headquarters, closer to the city centre.

We were thrilled to recently complete the purchase of the depot in Empress Road, and are moving the majority of our operation here from our previous HQ in Eastleigh.

Although part of our operation will remain in Eastleigh, we are delighted to confirm that the depot in Empress Road in Southampton is now our HQ. It gives us the perfect base from which to provide comprehensive bus services across the city and surrounding area.

Our move to Empress Road will not affect Bluestar and Unilink timetables or services.
