Howdy folks 🤠 We’re Jasper & Mila and we’re beyond terrified to announce that we will be running Bad Habit Studios!

First and foremost, we want to give a massive shoutout to for everything he’s done over the past five years. He has transformed the space into not just an awesome place to rehearse, but into the heart of the Eastbourne live music scene.

Our goal with Bad Habit is to carry the torch so lovingly lit by Drew and continue to keep it the centre of our community. Drew's shoes will be hard to fill, because there are two of us, but we'll do our best.

You probably want to hear all our big ideas, so here's a little teaser for you:

Jokes aside, we are brimming with ideas but what we want to focus on first is to keep things running as well as Drew has been (sweats nervously😅).

Five years ago today I took over the magnolia-walled fleapit known as Chapel Studios, and reopened it as Bad Habit Rehearsal Rooms

As the studio I used to rehearse at with my late-brother, this was definitely a heart-over-mind decision. But I've thrown everything into this challenge, gradually building up and improving the place in the face of all the unforeseen extra challenges 2020 threw at us

I now feel I've taken the studio as far as I can with my own abilities. So I'm passing the torch to new owners with fresh ideas, energy and expertise to take the studio to the next level

Many of you already know the new owners well, I’ll leave it to them to properly introduce themselves 😉

There’ll be a bit of a transitional period over the next month or so while I hand things over. The new phone number for all enquiries is: 👉👉07496983488👈👈

I’d like to take this moment to thank all of you for your support, friendship and patience these last five years. My proudest achievement is the beautiful community that has grown around this place. This will live on beyond the wonky walls of this old building

PASCAGOULA | BLACK GROOVE | HEALING WOUND. LIVE ON EASTBOURNE PIER

This gig is a line up we’ve been wanting to happen down this way for a long time. Getting sludge noise grafters PASCAGOULA to play in Eastbourne is something we’re real proud of. This gig is going to leave our ears ringing into the new year, ringing with the positivity of what our local music scene has achieved this year. So COME CELEBRATE the scene with us in the name of NOISE!!!

Headliners PASCAGOULA an intense noise ridden sludge band that live, are agonisingly crushing. Coming hot off a UK tour and EU tour this year, latest album ‘For Self Defence’, released by the legendary label Human Worth, is an unrelenting, raw and aggressive punch to the face to be relished.
Expect to feel uncomfortable and overwhelmed with raw power. NOISE.

Main support is our very own Black Groove, local legends and chaos sludge goblin fiends, powered by a bass heavy wall of noise. A frantic and sweat fuelled live show, with new songs to be vibrating your body. Expect snot.

Opening the night is blackened-death Brighton 4 piece HEALING WOUND. An act which at its core has a sound as if it’s vomiting backed up bile into the speakers, creating a sound that can only be described as raw, grim and ferocious. Expect pain.

We are super proud of this absolute sea vibrating lineup. Get your tickets early to avoid 1 in 1 out queues like last time. Massive thanks for all the support, the more you turn up, the more we can do.
