Big Steve Tolson record at our melodies of soul parties over last few years! This one from Velma (known as Vee) Allen is one of the best modern soul & funk records you will hear. Vee’s story is closely tied to the Detroit scene around Al Hudson and One Way, whose members handled much of the production and songwriting on All About Love. She also married the brother of soul legend Denise LaSalle. A must have in the hunt to complete the “one way” related collection!
