Lyrics of songs which are learned become embedded so very deeply within the memory that most adults can still remember the lyrics of songs that they themselves sang as children.

Jenny Bell is our current author of the month so we asked her for some fun facts about herself. This is one of Jenny's facts.
Jenny has visited Vancouver and the highlight was going on a bear-spotting trip. She could get out and see brown bears (from a safe distance!) in their natural habitat. It was amazing, and seeing a bear cub frolic down by a river was just incredible.
What is your favourite animal encounter?
According to her partner, Jenny Bell (our current author of the month) can sleep-talk in both English and Spanish. This is a talent their children now share: the language they are sleep-talking in determines whether she or her partner get up to go and see them!
