Alex Seleska

I’m Alex and I am the Director of Dragonfire Creative, Dragonfire Consulting, Dragonfire IT and Dragonfire Marketing. I have been working in marketing for over a decade, focusing on digital above all.

I have worked in the sales and marketing arena for my entire career and my journey has led me through a number of interesting and diverse marketing challenges.

From homecare to business consultancy, essential oils and fragrances, fertility treatment and rail engineering, children’s books and music crowdfunding I have worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes from all walks of life to help them develop their digital and online marketing success.

I am a skilled creative writer and aspiring novelist and often work with clients on developing their content for blogs, case studies and press releases.

I love a good wine and like to consider myself a quite creative and competent cook. I can often be found watching food programmes or dining in a good restaurant searching for inspiration.

I’m a creative person, for those who know about the Talent Dynamics personality I am fully in the Creator segment with some small overlaps into Star and Mechanic. I am very good at the big picture, very good at defining the goals and the aims of what a business should be looking to strive for. I am an ideas person and love the thrill of brainstorming creative concepts to help my client’s businesses.

Hi my name is Stefanie and I am the Marketing Manager at Dragonfire Marketing. My main specialities are social media, SEO and digital optimisation. But anything related to systems, research, strategy, usability and organisation are my idea of fun.

I am an INFJ (for any of you Myer Briggs fans out there), I am an Aries and a total Lord, with little hints of Accumulator and Mechanic (Talent Dynamics).

I’ve been privileged to work for and alongside a wide variety of clients, start ups, SMEs and even big corporations like Compass and Lidl. My clients often refer to me as Mary Poppins. I come into their lives, get everything in order, train them to be independent and then my job is done.

Because of the diversity and the requirements of the people I work for: marketing, business strategy and project management often overlap. Is there any point having a great marketing strategy and social media presence if the sales team behind the operation isn’t equipped to deal with it? Or if there are no aftercare measurements in place? Or even worse the website is poorly optimised for users and you are still using Excel sheets instead of a CRM?

I love a nice cup of tea and you will often find me researching restaurant menus and holiday destinations.

In my spare time I try to keep up with my charity projects. One being my successful Orthognathic Surgery blog @JawandFace. Amazingly my blog has been nominated 3 years in a row for the UK Blog Awards and I was lucky to be finalist in 2015. Something I am quite proud of.
