As part of year-long initiative, The Independent will spotlight one grassroots venue from each of the 12 UK regions, and speak with the people who help to run it to highlight the struggles and successes they have experienced. This month’s Main Stage spotlight venue is PJ Molloys, a 300-capacity venue in Dunfermline, Scotland, which has asserted itself over the past seven years as one of the region’s go-to live music spots.

Lovely to hear the wonderful song “Crying From My Heart” by Fraser Anderson on the Iain Anderson Show. I loved working on this album a few years back and this atmospheric track was a particular favourite. Go check out Fraser’s album “Under The Cover Of Lightness” for more gorgeous songs from this outstanding artist.
