Whatcha gonna do? I decided to make a bunch of wacky off the cuff videos with characters that were either just lying around or simply popped out by my printer. I had 2 big bits of cardboard, some acrylic paints and the need to express my nihilistic rage at the universe. Luckily I had help, great talented help that I’ll tell you about elsewhere. I did not know that a story would decide to write its
elf. That’s what its like, like watching water trickle downhill, probing the inevitable path of least resistance, not sure exactly about how its gonna get to where its going, but certain that it absolutely will and that its not for you to decide. Our point is that from chaos sprang a form that wrote its own story and is, at time of writing this, a good ways from being done or set in stone. I’m not sure what that story will be as I have no preconceptions or preconditions to fulfill, I’m looking forward to finding out how it all turns out as well and I wouldn't have it any other way. UPDATE - 10 months later we have a feature length 1hr 35min long movie. It evolved from the initial chaos and developed into a decent story arc with twists and turns aplenty. Re-shot and re-edited it is now nigh on pristine, several months of polishing to enhance the standard of all the included media has resulted in something I am very happy to present. I expect to release it very shortly. Its a lockdown move, made during lockdown and inspired by the need to relieve the personal existential angst of our time. It is my hope that it will bring some much needed laughter and joy in to our difficult lives at this time. Much more to follow stay tuned.
