Since 1 October 2022, all short-term let accommodation need a licence, unless specifically excluded.

Our council has nine months to process applications from new hosts and 12 months for existing hosts.

If you have applied and and we have asked you to supply further information, please act now so we can process your application. If we don't receive the requested information, your short-term let licence application will be refused.

Were you walking near the area of Craigieburn Farm, Moffat, between 11 am on Tuesday 13th August 2024 and 8 am on Wednesday 14th August 2024?

There was an incident where a sheep was killed in a nearby field between these times and it’s suspected a dog may have been responsible for the attack.
