🎵 If I knew you were coming, I'd have baked a tape 🎵 well, we DO know our client's coming so we did bake a tape! We have 8 2" reels to prepare for next weeks sessions where we are going to digitalise the material. It takes 10hrs to bake 2 reels, and they need turning every 2 hrs, they are so KNEADy (sorry)

We are celebrating this week! Our studio owner Grace Capaldi won the 'Unsung Hero' at the Music Producers Guild - MPG MPG Awards last week. She won for her focus and dedication to creating an accessible and inclusive space to create music here at Echotown. We put our accessibility for vision-impaired clients to the test yesterday and hosted Guide Dogs South West to help train their new candidates to adjust to different sounds, flooring and lighting situations. They even braved the gong (softly!) It was a pleasure to be a part of their training and help towards their futures, perhaps with future clients! Guide Dogs UK

The legendary Universal Audio 1176 sits at the top of our elite outboard collection. Famous for ensuring that 'what comes out is better than what went in' the blue stripe has been used on many iconic records. The history of ours? Well, American producer Kyle Lehning was its previous owner and he used it to record Kenny Rogers and B.J Thomas. He loved it so much, he even signed it! #1176
