Love Songs with Pat Rhodes from 20.00 'til 21.00, and then In Concert, that's from 21.00 'til 22.00! We've been broadcasting to the hospitals of what is now The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust since 1952, but now we're worldwide on the internet!

Happy new year everyone! The Saturday Selection is back tomorrow, the first one of 2026, form 12 'til 2 - two hours of hand picked popular tunes that you may not have heard for years, if at all! And don't forget Mike Binns' Breakfast Show with all the usual features from 8 'til 10, more music variety between 2 and 5, and Feel Good Anthems with Matthew Horsley from 5 'til 8 - three hours of party tunes for a Saturday evening. Pat Rhodes is here from 8 'til 9 with Love Songs, and then In Concert from 9pm 'til 10pm.
Sunday morning sees Daybreak, and an hour of contemporary style Christian music from 9 until 10, Mike Binns will then host You Pick The Mix from 10 'til 12, when we'll have More Music Variety from 12 until 2 or 2.30, when HWD's sports team will have coverage of the Hudd. Town v. Exeter City game live from the Accu Stadium. Kick off is at 3.00. The Eclectic Mix returns after 5.00 with two hours of varieties of rock music (mainly prog.) and the odd piece of jazz/funk/fusion for those that like non "run of the mill" music. And you don't have to be in hospital to hear the station!

A slight change to the HWD Hospital Radio schedule this Saturday means that, after Mike Binns' Saturday breakfast show from 8.00 'til 10.00, The Saturday Selection with Dave Sowden will air between 10.00 and 12.00! This is to allow HWD's sports commentary team to provide live coverage of the Lg. 1 game between Huddersfield Town and Wigan Athletic. Coverage starts at 12.00, kick off is at 12.30. Then, from around 14.30 we're back to normal with More Music Variety until 17.00, when Matthew Horsley is here with Feel Good Anthems - three hours of party tunes for a Saturday evening. Pat Rhodes follows him with an hour of love songs, and then an hour of "live" music from some of the pop world's most well known artists. Hear the station live here:
