The end resultis a bastard child of the catchy, emotive gutpunches of Nothing More, the wild intensity of System of a Down and the eclectic ambition of Porcupine Tree. From the nasty metal riffage of latest single Scalper to the bouncy reggae shimmer of Man Down, all these songs are held together by infectious hooks and Jackson’s unmistakable soaring vocals. Subverting not just the expectations on rock songwriting but the systems and conventions that leave people disempowered, Confyde’s live show is a rollercoaster of emotion and hasgarnered an audience invested in each song’s resonant messages and excited for the unexpected. Price of Agony is a 4-piece metal band from Nottingham, UK, influenced by bands such as Killswitch Engage, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, and Avenged Sevenfold, they’ve been described as, “Bullet for my Valentine meets Type O Negative.” Initially formed in a post-pandemic world in 2022 by guitarists and long-term friends Chris Pilmore and Zac O'Brien, before recruiting Dan Evans on bass in late 2023 and Finalising the line up in early 2024 with the arrival of vocalist Paul Hughes.
