Our lead director studied and spent his early career at Universal Studios in LA, and so we are confident we can meet ALL of our clients' film and video needs. We are lucky to have worked with a wonderful
selection of clientelle. From brides and schools to IT companies and organisations such as the NHS, we are proud of our work and how it has met the needs of our videography clients. We are unique in the fact that we produce not only commercial films and video aids for corporations, but we provide outstanding wedding and events videography whilst still maintaining an independent film production house. Everything we do has to meet the industry standards we set for ourselves in our movie making; movies that we proudly premiere at cinemas to audiences of over 250.
Did this a while ago but didn't get around to posting it. I quite liked how it turned out. Not sure about the camera angle but I was working from a reference with a similar angle so I went with it. I really like the lighting on the sofa to the left. It's always a lot harder than I think it's going to be to fill a space up with things that suggest life exists there.
A little breakdown of the garden shot that I did last week. It appears simple (which I guess it is in terms of the number of steps there are, but these steps can be very difficult. I'm getting more and more confident each time I do it though which is always a good thing.
Been practising tracking again, the more I do the more confidence I feel with it. This shot was actually surprisingly tricky. I shot it with a stabiliser and yet it was still a difficult track in parts. It's amazing when you finally get the right combination of settings though
This has been one of my favourite projects to work on, I've learnt soooooo much including one very very important lesson - Always check all the elements to make sure they are all linked before rendering! Damn you smoke layer!!!! I'm probably not going to re-render as it took an age to render in the first place. It's good to finish up and move on to another project and take those lessons learnt with you
Lots of fun adding live-action footage into CG environments. I've part of a longer sequence but the rendering is a pain as ever.
Worked on this for quite some time, really happy with how it's turned out. I'm going to be doing a breakdown soon but I just wanted to release it. There are a few other shots in this sequence which I'll release once they are rendered. It's been a lot of fun learning new technics.
Decided to do a quick project, well it started off with me wanting to expand my asset browser items and then evolved into a full scene. that being said I'm pretty happy with how it come together. tried to focus a bit harder on the texturing. It's worked in some cases and not in other but there's improvements happening which is good.
I've wanted to do something like this for a long time. I've tried various tricks and methods but I'm thrilled with how this one has turned out with a lot of help from and some of his great tutorials on his Patreon. So how did I do it? Ok so first I filmed one of my kids walking down a street, they weren't overly happy to be doing it but I begged and bribed them and finally, I had some footage of someone walking along next to a wall. I filmed it on my iPhone making sure that she was always covered by the back wall. I also made sure that the area I was filming in was overcast so I didn't have to deal with hard shadows. I've had to deal with that before and it's not fun. The next step was tracking it inside Blender which was very straightforward. That's something I never thought I'd say. Again VFX has really helped build my confidence up when it comes to tracking. Next, I rebuilt some of the geometry from the point cloud that the tracking produced and then projected the tracked footage back on the geometry. Once that was done it was time to start building the new environments. Due to adding/extending some of the brick elements I needed to do a roto layer to go on top of the new background and then to finish off I needed to render out the foreground beams. I then composited it in After Effects.
Grime, grunge, rust - can’t beat it!
This is gonna look great when it’s brought to life!
