Do you know that Grants and Fellowships are untapped goldmines?

So many people overlook them, yet if you're not financially buoyant and you hold a BSc, MSc, or PhD, and you're looking to study, travel, or grow your career internationally, this might be your best shot.

Grants and Fellowships can give you access to fully funded opportunities to:

Study or conduct research

Attend global conferences

Travel abroad for academic or professional development

They often come with:

Monthly stipends

Travel allowances

Accommodation

And they are open across many fields—even Arts and Social Sciences

Many have no age limits and are open to international applicants

They’re also a great way to:

Boost your CV

Expand your global network

Gain international exposure

So what do you need to do to access these?

Search consistently—they’re online, but you have to put in the time

Learn to write a strong proposal or personal statement

Stay organized and don’t miss deadlines

Be patient and persistent—it’s competitive but very achievable

Start by looking for:

Open call fellowships

Research or travel grants

Academic exchange programs

Leadership and professional development residencies

Make it a challenge:
Search for and apply to at least one opportunity a day—you’ll be amazed by what’s out there.

Dear Aspiring UK Master's Students,

Let’s focus on what really works, Adult Nursing and Social Work.

These two courses are not just academic paths; they’re opportunities with clear routes to employment and visa sponsorship in the UK.

If you're planning to leave your family back in Nigeria to pursue studies in the UK, choose wisely. These fields come with real chances to secure stable jobs, remain legally, and even bring your loved ones over in time.

Don’t waste time or money chasing courses that won’t open doors. Be strategic. Be intentional.

The goal is not just to study, the goal is to stay and thrive.

How I miss Nigerian Sunday testimony time!

Over here, sometimes na "pouch testimonies" we dey hear:
"I just want to thank God for life and for promotion."
Finish. No suspense, no buildup, no drama. 😂

But if you ever attended Winners Chapel, you go understand say testimony na something like:
"Once I was blind, now I can see!"

There was one mama back then, ehn...
She climbed the altar to testify but started with:
"That year, my first born dey secondary school, and in the morning, my neighbour greet me… then I see another neighbour…”

At that point, we thought the testimony was about the neighbours.
But no o! 10 minutes later, mama never still land!

The poor minister holding the mic gently whispered:
"Mama, please go straight to the point."
Mama replied confidently:
"Na there I dey go so!" 😂😂😂

Each time they tried to interrupt her, she go reply:
"No rush me, na there I dey go so!" 😂

Instead of going straight, mama paused, raised her hands, and broke into a deep worship song:
🎶 "I have a very big God o, He’s always by my side..."

Even the pastor had to signal the minister:
"Leave her, make she finish."

But omo! Testimony never start o.
Mama continued with more background, family history, and village chronicles. 😭😭

She didn’t finish that day… and till today, we still never hear wetin God really do! 😂😂😂

Whatever you do in this life, try and make money, if not for yourself, then so that no one will ever use your children as tools for surrogacy out of poverty.

Some years ago, someone I knew from the U.S. asked for help finding a young girl of a certain age to act as a surrogate “for her friend” though many of us believed it was actually for herself.

Word spread, and eventually a young woman agreed. The promised amount was ₦1 million.

She went through rounds of medical procedures, endured the injections, faced the side effects, and followed all the protocols. The first embryo transfer failed. They tried again, still no success. Along the way, she suffered serious physical reactions to the medications.

And in the end? She was given just ₦30,000 as compensation.

₦30,000 for her pain. Her health. Her body.

This isn’t to condemn surrogacy itself. There are respectful and ethical ways it’s done. But let’s not ignore the harsh truth: when poverty is the driving force, it's no longer a choice, it's survival. Desperation becomes a bargaining chip.

Now the Nigerian government is considering a ban or strict regulation on surrogacy, calling it a growing form of exploitation of the poor by the rich. And truthfully? It’s not hard to see why.

But even if banned, we know the reality: in a country like Nigeria where lawlessness often trumps legislation, these things continue underground, quiet, hidden, and dangerous.

So please, strive to be financially stable. Not for show. Not for status. But for dignity. So that you, or those you love, are never forced to say "yes" to something painful just because there was no other option.

If you truly want a surrogate mother because you're too classy to carry a pregnancy, then go the states in the US that permit it, pay heavily and have your babies

Sometimes I imagine...

What if brassieres were originally made for men, to hide their flat chests?
And women were actually never expected to wear any, because “why hide such a beautiful gift?” 😌

Imagine society saying:

“Men, please cover up your chest! Nobody wants to see those flat things all over the place!” 😂

Meanwhile, women walk around freely, praised for not hiding what they’ve been naturally blessed with.

Crazy, right? I am overthinker, I know 😂😂😂😂

All she asked for was one ring… just one.
But her daddy? He showed up like Father Christmas in June, with a whole set! 💍😂

Now our 5-year-old walks around like she owns a jewellery empire. Rings on every finger, giving princess vibes 😅

And me? I smiled. Then paused.

Because where I come from, a child wearing rings? You’ll hear:
‘She’s too young!’
‘It’s not good spiritually.’
‘Vanity is knocking early!’
Some might even start whispering about marine spirit 🙃

But truth is, sometimes a ring is just a ring.
A child is just a child, feeling beautiful, feeling loved.

Maybe we’re unlearning old fears.
Maybe we’re just learning how to love without overthinking.

Oh, and in case there’s ever a global ring scarcity?
Please ring my daughter. She’s got loads! 💁🏽‍♀️💍💍💍

Dear future son in-law, what are you bringing to the table? Because she has rings 😂

It’s no longer news that yesterday, the world witnessed a tragedy that claimed the lives of many, passengers onboard and innocent souls simply going about their day in the comfort of their homes.

💔 My heart is heavy.
To everyone affected, may Abba Father comfort your hearts in ways only He can.

This is a sobering reminder:
Life is not ours.
We don’t own time.

You could be in the kitchen cooking, at work, cruising on a boat, flying on a plane, riding a bike, or just relaxing and Netflixing, none of these are a guarantee that you’ll see tomorrow.

Let this shake us a little.
Let this remind us:
We will all die one day, but let us not forget to truly live before then.
Live in peace.
Live with purpose.
Live ready.

🙏🏾 May none of us lose our lives at the edge of our breakthrough, or just as life is about to take a good turn.
May we not exit when joy is knocking at the door.

🕊️ Rest in peace to all the victims.
God, please carry their families.

I came across a story of a woman who applied to move to Canada as a tailor, right from the comfort of her own home. She didn’t wait for a handout, she didn’t rely on luck—she put in the work, and now her family is living in Canada as citizens.

This is not a one-off miracle. Many people have gone through the same process by actively seeking opportunities, applying for scholarships, and putting in the effort to make their dreams a reality. Canada wants skilled workers, and they have programs for people like tailors, mechanics, welders, and more. It’s not just for high-paying professions, it’s for people who are willing to put in the effort and make their skills count.

Sometimes, laziness is the reason why people stay poor. Success doesn’t come to those who wait; it comes to those who actively seek it. You don’t need to wait for someone to hand it to you. If you can’t afford the huge costs of relocation, there are scholarships and immigration programs that are fully doable.

The scholarships I post, the opportunities I share, are within your reach. You don’t need to be spoon-fed to make this happen. Some people who’ve commented on my posts are already beneficiaries of these scholarships! They commented that they're on full funded scholarships. But guess what? It didn’t fall from the sky—they worked for it.

If you’re waiting for someone else to change your life, stop waiting. Take the first step, make the effort, and change your own destiny. Canada is a land of opportunity, but it requires you to meet it halfway.

The effort you put in today can shape your future tomorrow. It’s time to get started!

No Degree? No Problem! Here's How to Move to New Zealand with Just Your WAEC or NECO Certificate!

A lot of people believe you must have a university degree before you can move abroad — but that’s not true at all! With just your WAEC or NECO certificate, you can build a faster and more secure path to residency in countries like New Zealand.

Here’s a simple breakdown:

1. Your WAEC or NECO Certificate is All You Need to Start
This is your entry ticket. Make sure you have it ready and properly documented.

2. Enroll in a Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma Program
These are hands-on, practical courses. Popular options include:

Welding

Plumbing

Carpentry

Metal Fabrication

Healthcare Support

Electrical Work

Automotive Repairs

Hospitality Services

Pick a field that you can see yourself building a career in.

3. How Long and How Much?

Course length: 6 months to 1 year

Tuition: around 7–12 million Naira

Proof of funds:

About 7 million Naira for a 6-month program

Around 18 million Naira for a full year

4. These Skills Are Highly In Demand
Many of these fields are listed on New Zealand's "Green List" — meaning employers are actively looking for workers with these skills. This boosts your chances of getting a job after you finish studying.

5. Your Job Can Lead Straight to Residency
Once you complete your course and land a job with an accredited employer, you can apply for residency after just two years of full-time work — often earning over 50,000 NZD per year.
In total, you could secure your New Zealand residency in as little as 2.5 years — faster than moving to the UK, US, or many parts of Europe!

Don't let lack of a degree hold you back.
Skilled work is in high demand — and your future could start with just a single step. If you're serious about moving, start planning today!
