BOOKED! ✈️✈️❤️ so excited for this one! We have been talking about it all summer and last night we jumped in and booked the flights! The plan is to fly to Zagreb, pick up a car and go to Lake Bled, Slovenia for a night. From there work our way down the Croatian coast to Dubrovnik staying at some great places along the way. Still piecing together the stops along the way so if you have any recommendations or ideas then we would love to hear them! Let the adventure begin!

Travel and the travel industry have been such a big part of my life for the last 5-10 years. From doing one of my all time favourite jobs, working on the Ramp, to how I met my wonderful partner. Travel has given me so much joy, excitement and adventures. I want to share our adventures but also the way we access discounts on hotels and many more things, in the hope that other will be able to take advantage of it like we are!

All this hot weather recently has called for numerous icecreams, but I think I've found my new favourite spot while on holiday in the Peaks! A great stop off near Buxton with great staff, amazing icecream and farm yard animals you can feed too. Something for Everyone that's for sure..... also did I mentioned they have really yummy icecream?!🍦🍦

So just last week I was offered the opportunity to become an ambassador for a travel club. Instantly I was gifted a free hotel stay (still 24 hours left of the offer!) I have been looking to venture to different places in the next few years instead of returning to the same resorts over and over again. This gives me the opportunity not only to book some amazing discounted hotels and life experiences but also flights, car hire, and excursions to name a few but to earn points on all these booking which can then be used against future discounts. I want to reintroduce myself to you all… my name is Andy and you can find me mostly Near East Midlands Airport ✈️ that doesn’t mean I am sitting with some binoculars spotting aircraft registrations, I work in a busy office for a cargo airline. But every time I hear a plane take off I am always dreaming of new places I want to visit.
Being unwell with stage 4 Lymphoma in 2020 really brought home how fragile the dream is so whilst I enjoy what I do I have always wanted the freedom to travel and be my own boss. Getting involved in online marketing I know can make that happen and I am exceptionally lucky to be working alongside an amazing team who’s coaching and advice I appreciate immensely and probably don’t tell them enough!
As a team we want to bring like minded people together to share their stories and show them the way to the freedom they crave.
I can’t wait to start sharing my trips, ideas and thoughts and I’d love to hear from you all if you have read this and it has touched to enough to comment ❤️

Travel tip #1 - The best time to book flights to get the best rates!⠀

Usually tickets go on sale 11 months in advance and airlines often use complex algorithms to update fares every hour. This ensures they get the maximum capacity with the best price possible for each seat.⠀
There are certain trends if you have the time to keep watching. Around 5 weeks before travel it can be beneficial to pay close attention whilst also educating yourself about when cheaper seats are available by varying the day of departure and the time for example can make a huge difference!⠀
Of course if you are looking to travel at a really busy time such as Christmas then you should book early to ensure you get the best possible fare class that wont be beatable nearer the time!
