Happy New Year folks! What will 2026 bring us for airsoft? I wonder.. Hopefully for site owners here in the UK, lower site insurance premiums and an increase in player numbers, both are unlikely. Insurance companies in particular seem to be killing the sport as they try to squeeze every last penny from site operators at a time when player numbers are on the slide. So unfortunately I think in 2026 we will see a few more sites close, I hope I am wrong. These photos were taken at Section 8 Scotland on Sunday December 28th. I do have lots of good video from that day, but I decided to take a break from almost everything over the Christmas and New Year period, though I will get back to tinkering with video tomorrow 😉

12 photos that took today at Section 8 Scotland. 75 people on site, furthest travelled were two guys from Essex, which is a drive of about 400 miles each way. Section8 welcomes all players, today I also spoke with people on site from New Zealand and South Africa, it is not just locals here. The next game is on Sunday 14th of December, if you need to hire any equipment you can prebook via the Section8 website.
