So in addition to my photos and art designs you will also find amusing quotes and fun memes here on a regular basis. My first creative love was and always will be Photography however I felt the need to to edit my photos more and more to create the vibrant look I wanted bringing me into the world of digital art, I love bold bright colours and rainbows. Many years of walking to and from work in the

pouring rain and trying to cheer myself up thinking about "rainbows in the rain" is my biggest inspiration. I used to dance competitively in ballroom and latin styles with my Fiancé and ran and trained a troupe of Bellydancers. I made the flamboyant costumes for the dancing and loved working with bright vibrant colours and shiny beads this I think also all carries into many of the designs I create. I don't take on commission work as this is not my job it's my hobby. Making this my job would I am sure take the fun away. P.S. As a photographer I try to capture pictures of subjects the way I see them or with a view to showing you the subjects the way I want to display them. My photographic work has been exhibited around the world in a number of galleries in both printed and digital display forms. My artwork designs are exactly that, they are not meant to look like photographs my camera does that. My artwork designs are creations of my visions and not meant to look perfect or to look like the photographs I sometimes use for reference. My "Heartwork" is exactly that! they are from within and will vary according to my mood at the time but generally are vibrant, sometimes quirky, sometimes a little abstract and colourful the colour is what matters most to me. My creations are meant to invoke feelings of warmth in whatever image I choose to design or create.

Good evening all

This might be a bit of a "Marmite" post but I wanted to get some serious tail flick into my peacock image.

I am quite pleased with the result as its given movement and a touch of an abstract feel to the shot.

I am off to work on one of my horse images next, loving this software and really looking forward to putting it through its paces as I learn more over the next few weeks.

Good morning all and a very Happy New Year to you.

As previously mentioned I am very quiet on here at the moment as I have enrolled for some new artwork and editing training.

At the back end of last year I eluded to the fact that I wanted to try something new.

I want to use some of my equine and wildlife photographic work and move in a slightly more fine art direction.

Obviously as with all artwork the finished piece takes a while to complete and as I am on a big learning curve each piece takes me twice as long at least.

Anyway here is my first one "Autumn Fox" He is not perfect but I am going to keep him as he is now and file him as my first try. I have added the original below so you can see the changes

I am absolutely loving this journey and hope to bring you some delightful new pieces over the coming months.

for those of you who love my vibrant pieces I still have a few of those I am working on but for the moment I want to spend some time on this new style.

Sat here in floods of tears having just listened to the BBCs "Review 2024 We Remember", so many wonderful people passed in 2024.

I wish you all a very happy New Year but more than that I wish for everyone to remember that every day is the first day.. the first day of the rest of your life.

I have never been much of one to celebrate the New Year but as the 31st December 2024 ticks by I want to start waking up in the morning to live every day of my life as if it is a new start.

In addition to working my main job over the Christmas period I have been studying a new art style. I love it and whilst each piece will take quite some time to create I am really looking forward to sharing this new style with you in the future.

Look after yourself and those you love. Make the most of every moment of every day. Get those boring jobs out of the way and do a lot of what you love.

Thank you all so very much for your love and support this last year.

Good morning all.

I loved this shot from our trip to Yorkshire this year what a little darling this red was, He sat quite nicely for us whilst he was munching his breakfast.

Sorry I am so quiet at the moment, work is manic and when I am not working I am trying to work on new artwork designs and process photographs.

How is everyone's Christmas prep coming along?

We have finally got our decs up and most of the presents are purchased and wrapped so I think that's a win for us this year for a change, usually we are very last minute.

Good morning all

A sad note this morning to inform you I will be closing my Etsy store on 20th December. I am currently running a buy two or more items and get 50% off sale so please do drop by to take advantage of the offer before the store closes.

In addition to the above deadline in view of the new rules about to come into effect I will not be suppling any further products to the EU after this coming Friday (7th December) from my Etsy store. All options to purchase from those areas will be switched off Friday evening.

With the new EU rules coming into effect plus the associated costs of postage, charges for running the store and time spent working on listing items it really isn't going to be viable any longer.

I will still have a Redbubble store for photographic products and for high quality framed prints my Photo4me page but these are 3rd party suppliers who fulfill orders directly.

Moving forward I want to spend more time doing what I love which is actually working on my photography and artwork and less time promoting on social media and running the Etsy store.

Over the last year my work life balance has got quite out of hand and all the associated time listing and promoting is just not practical for the small amount of spare time I do have.

Thank so so much for all those who have supported my Etsy store thus far I am sad and sorry to have had to come to this decision but changes outside of my control mean I have little choice.

Morning all

A bit chilly here this morning, my squirrels and other garden wildlife are glad of the additional food for sure. Do you have snow where you are this morning? Stay warm and tread carefully its pretty slippery out.

This little guy always makes me chuckle as he likes his vantage point in the garden but he doesn't realize he is sitting on the Fox's head.
