Already own a reusable coffee cup? How about removing plastic straws from your life? We have a few remaining elegant glass straws as well as our stainless steel straws. Both feel wonderful to use and have different purposes: glass straws are elegant, decadent and look wonderful as a display in the kitchen. Stainless steel straws are not quite as pretty to look at but very portable. Easy to throw into a bag.

Happy Earth Day 2018. It's an important one this year. Understanding about plastics has really taken off in the last 12 months with many governments and large businesses getting on board to pledge their reductions in single use plastic. So today is a day when we can take 5 minutes out to look at our own lives. Have you calculated your plastic pollution footprint? Fantastic! Well done PizzaExpress We use both the stainless steel and glass straws in our house and they are fantastic! Lets hope more big companies hop on board the anti plastic straw movement soon!

We pride ourselves on listening to our customers, so when Ava, aged five, sent us a letter asking us to stop putting plastic straws in her drink because “they are very bad for animals.”, it spurred us to make a change.

We are now phasing out single-use plastic straws from all our 470+ restaurants from this summer, and we'll be replacing them with biodegradable and recyclable paper versions.
