Back at the end of May I walked the Dales Way.
The 82 mile route begins in the market town of Ilkley on the eastern edge of the Dales and travels through Wharfedale and Dentdale, before crossing into the foothills of the Lake District National Park to finish on the shores of Lake Windermere, Englandโ€™s largest lake.
I tried my best to capture the sights, sounds and emotions on my Go Pro.. My only regret is i didn't make more of an effort to film the horrendous weather bits โ›ˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒฉ It would of really added to the story. Very difficult filming with a git massive pack on though and in the pi***ng rain I lost alot of my blogging motivation.
This trail was alot harder than I thought and after day 3 I could barely walk due to blisters the size of golfballs lol. Still I pressed on. Massive shout out to David Pratt and Andrea Bennett for putting me up for the night on day iii after enduring 7 hours of torrential rain and letting me dry all my gear. Absolute lifesavers ๐Ÿ™
So here it is 1hr 16mins worth of boring hiking n wild camping footage along with the usual awkward banter. I know it's not for everyone, but for anyone who's into multi day hikes, might find it mildly interesting.
Peace, love and happy trails ๐Ÿ‘ฃ ๐Ÿ˜ŽโœŒ๏ธ
