🎓 The 2024 Education Conference🎓

Join us at Craigclowan School, Perth, on Sunday, 15th September, for an exciting day of learning and development. This year's conference offers both classroom-based and on-slope training sessions, with something for everyone!

Open to all Coaches, Instructors, and Alpine Ski Leaders with a current registration (including non-Snowsport Scotland Registered).

The cost is just £10; attendees will receive a 1-year CPD revalidation!

We are being asked loads at the moment wether we are the same people that ran "Devon Ski Centre".......

The answer is yes we are, we have a new name, new location and better ideas than before, with over 2000 pairs of ski boots sold we still have the experience to make skiing comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Can't wait to meet you all in the upcoming season, we are excited to show off the shop and all the new goodies 😁

A full on busy summer. training and competing with two trips to Landgraff snoworld with Alpine Performance Racing and to Belgium at snow valley in peer with Vision Race Project along with regular Sunday night race training at Chill Factore

My first year as U16 indoor summer races with GBR copper horse achieivng some solid results against the many older racers, with overall joint 7th, with a 4th in the English Indoor champs, 5th in the British and 6th in the Welsh. Always great to catch up with my fellow racers and put down continually faster and faster times indoors.

Role Overview:
As a Part-Time Coach, you will be delivering roller ski coaching across the Snowsport Scotland pathway remit. Your responsibilities will include:

🌟 Increasing participation numbers by coaching at Snowsport Scotland introductory roller ski sessions.
🌟 Supporting Snowsport Scotland Nordic Clubs by coaching club sessions and at club events.
🌟 Contributing to the performance pathway by coaching the Snowsport Scotland Nordic Development Group sessions.

Position Details:

-Up to 52.5 hours per month
-Flexible hours and session commitments arranged based on your availability
-Regulated work position

📢 Important Update for Snowsport Scotland Coaches, Leaders, and Instructors! 📢

Starting June 2025, the sportscotland CWPS course will be the only child protection training we accept when your previous training expires. As of now, we recommend that all Coach/Leader/Instructor members complete the CWPS course.
SSS are pleased to offer discounted CWPS courses for our Coach, Leader, Instructor (CLI) members. Our first course is scheduled:
📅 Date: Friday, 4th October
⏰ Time: 18:00 - 21:00 (via Zoom)
💰 Price: £10 for SSS CLI members, £20 for non-members. Please email us for a discount code - [email protected]
