Went to watch this last night, the usual laughs and funny bits in there along with the good action sequences, I enjoyed it and took it at face value, all in all a decent 4th instalment for the bad boys franchise I’ll give it a 8/10.
Just don’t go thinking it’s gotta be the best, Reggie was awesome as well, not taking no crap this time!! 😂👍🏻🔥

Watched Ricky Stanicky last night, wasn’t thinking it would be too good but it was quite surprising to be fair, had some funny parts in it and deffo was better than I thought it would be!! I could even watch John cena without thinking his acting was bad in this one, he was pretty funny.

Sad news...
Susan Buckner, the actress and dancer best known for her turn as the bubbly and often-teased Rydell High cheerleader Patty Simcox in the 1978 blockbuster musical Grease, has died. She was 72.

She died Thursday in Miami, family spokesperson Melissa Berthier announced. No cause of death was revealed.

Buckner portrayed Hollywood bad girl Jean Harlow alongside Tommy Lee Jones in the 1977 CBS telefilm The Amazing Howard Hughes and was one of the dancers/synchronized swimmers known as the Kroffettes on The Brady Bunch Hour (the 1976-77 ABC variety show was created by Sid and Marty Krofft). She also starred opposite Sharon Stone in Wes Craven’s Deadly Blessing (1981).

Just seen a clip for a new movie called the force of nature: The Dry 2. I watched The Dry last year and what a great movie it was, worth checking out if u haven’t already seen it, Eric bana was excellent in this, and the follow up is due out on the 10th May. 🎬👍🏻

She subsequently earned worldwide fame for starring as Frances "Baby" Houseman in the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing (1987), which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Her other feature films include Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1984), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989), Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), The Wind Rises (2013), In Your Eyes (2014), Duck Duck Goose (2018), and Bittersweet Symphony (2019).

Nominated for two Oscar’s, Best Film and Best Original Screenplay.
Past Lives is the story of two childhood friends Na Young and Hae Sung, childhood sweethearts in a way, but her family immigrates from Korea. 20yrs go by and they finally reconnect over Skype, Na Young has changed her name to Nora, and finds Hae has been looking for her, after talking on Skype for a while they both decide to take a break from cam talking and another 12yrs go by, in this time hae sung has done military service and is working, Nora has made her name as a playwright and has gotten married to a man named Arthur. They finally meet up again after all those years and spend a couple of days together just wandering and sightseeing, and Hae even meets Arthur before returning back home to Korea.
My take on this movie, it’s a slow burner, awkward in places!! It’s like they’re lovers, but not!! I don’t know how I’d feel if my wife decided to visit a friend she hadn’t seen since the age of 12 and has unresolved love and feelings for. Overall, a good film. Mostly Korean language. I’ll give this a 7/10 👍🏻

Nominated for 5 Oscar awards and winning best actress in a supporting role for Da’Vine Joy Randolph, The Holdovers is the next movie ticked off the list.
Set in 1970 at Xmas time, the prep school is closing for the holidays and 5 young men are left behind by parents for whatever reasons they have, supervised by teacher Paul Hunham and grieving cook Mary. After a few days only one student remains, Angus a trouble making 18yr old, a good student, clever, but his behaviour threatens to get him expelled. These three very different people for a bond over the next ten days where they begin to help each other figure things out in their own lives whilst stuck with each other over the holiday.

I really did enjoy this movie, I’ve always like Paul giamatti in whatever he’s been in, and his unlikeable teacher character is worthy of the Oscar nomination for best actor. Watching them overcome burdens of their own pasts and discovering they get to make their own futures. Excellent movie 8/10.
