We've not died horrible deaths. The last few months have been a challenge, it's fair to say.

Worry not, 2024 will see us resurrect and bring you more pod love!

On a serious note, we're really sorry for the lack of content, and lack of social media.

Wow. What an epic welcome from Avonmouth Claires Ladies

What courage and grit from Dursley Ladies RFC who formed a team with the Nomads.

What quality rugby on display.

What an amazing ref team with Holly Feller, Eleanor, Fiona and Rebecca marshaling the mayhem.

What an amazing, inspiring, interesting and thought provoking discussion with Fiona Brunt, Jemma Norton, the incredible Rocky Clark and the funny, open and honest Kathryn Buggy.

What amazing support from Halbro Sportswear , friends, colleagues and listeners for enabling the festival to happen.

And what a bloody party!

We're all exhausted but inspired by the whole thing. It'll take a while to wade through the pictures but here's a taster!

Well the GrassRoots Festival is nearly upon us. Thanks to the amazing Halbro Sportswear our panel is now taking shape with Rocky Clark and Kathryn Buggy from Gloucester Hartpury.

Here's Episode 13.....the in-person one.

In this off-season episode, we attempt, with varying degrees of success to do an in-person recording. This was harder than we initially thought, so please bear with us as we figure out the sound quality when we’re all together!

We welcome Fudge from the fantastic Shrewsbury Rugby ladies, Jody updates us on her latest injury, we discuss changing captains and pre-season.

We also announce our new project – making and producing a GrassRoots Women’s Rugby Documentary. If you would like to take part, please get in touch!

In episode 11, we welcome Avonmouth Claires Ladies and Workington Zebra Finches Women's RUFC to tell us all about their trips to Twickenham to play in the Papa John's Plate Final. It's a facinating listen hearing from both the winners and the runners up, what it meant to them and how they coped with the pressure and excitement of the day.

We also chat about choosing a team, and Mollie Ellen comes up with an interesting idea. Jodie complains about players with long hair and we discuss playoffs and promotion along with the usual nonsense.
