P1 enrolment is now open for your wee ones, so get your application for your preferred school in now folks. 🍎

If your child turns 5 between 1 March 2025 and 28 February 2026, the application process for enrolling them into P1 is currently open.

Applications for P1 must be received by 9.00am on 17th March 2025.

🚨 Storm Éowyn Update – Saturday Noon 🚨

A huge thank you to the Scottish Power teams, emergency services, and volunteers who have been working tirelessly overnight and this morning to support our community.

💡 Current Power Outages
While power has been restored in some areas, I’m aware there are still outages affecting parts of the constituency, including Cowdenbeath and Auchtertool. I have particular concern about a care home which is without power and am promised they are being prioritised to receive a large generator whilst they are being reconnected to the grid.

Over the past 24 hours, I’ve been in regular contact with Scottish Power and spoken to a number of constituents about their issues. I have registered several outages with Scottish Power. Work is ongoing to restore power to other areas as quickly and safely as possible.
