The Sunday Times’ Good University Guide for 2021 has named the University of Warwick the University of the Year for Teaching Quality and runner-up for University of the Year 2022, as a result of the 2021 National Student Survey (NSS) and Warwick’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The guide has also placed the University of Warwick as eighth in the UK overall, and the best in the West Midlands. Similar results can be seen in the Guardian University Guide 2022 which puts Warwick sixth nationally (rising from eighth last year) and a ranking of 78th in the world in the Times Higher Education.
Vice Chancellor Stuart Croft commented on the result: “This tremendous result is down to the tenacity, the integrity, and the sheer hard work of our entire Warwick community — in the face of unprecedented global disruption and difficulty.”
