What happened to Majula Camara and other innocent kids is sad and heart breaking. May her soul rest in peace.

The partying & clubbing in the Gambia is crazy lately. Buying drugs in the Gambia now is like buying warrga because of it's cheapness and easy accessibility. Kids are kids and should be able to go out and have fun without this happening to them just like we did in our days.

The sad part is the drugs in Gambia and Africa are far more deadly than any type of drugs in the world. Dealers will mix anything in the name of drugs for the cash flow.
My honest truth is this is not only a government issue but the whole country at large. Waiting for government to step up is somehow ignoring our own responsibilities towards our kids. This should be collectively. It should be a crime watch neighbourhood.

Just because someone is not mine/your child should not be the reason not to protect them. In as much as the fail Government have a huge part to play to clean the streets we should equally take responsibility.

Am calling and begging on all political parties to work together as one on this drug issue for the sake their kids and ours. If we focus on the Barrow government on this one walahi the streets will never be clean. Good governance starts with us so pls let's help each other here.

Look at what happened to the beautiful Majula ndeysan. The person that was meant to protect her allegedly drugged her. It's time we talk to our kids more to be careful with friends and some relatives. Let's talk to them more about being vigilant. Majula is innocent and doesn't deserve this at all.

Few times in the Gambia, I have seen blades and syringes(plastic) on the floor, I had to pick it up with a tissue and throw it away the proper way rather than leaving it there for a child to pick up and starts playing nurses or doctors with it or a child to use it to harm another base on what they watch on TV. My point is it should be collective to protect our kids.

Am seriously worried for my kids and yours. Stay bless.

Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un With Sadness yet glorification we regret to announce the passing of Abdullah Mboob ndeysan a very sad news. A kind brother is gone. My heartfelt condolences to wa Mbooben Banjul, UK and the entire family.

Rest in peace my brother Abdullah Mboob . You have done your part for the Gambia with dignity and honourably.

May Jannatul Firdaws be your final resting place. Am sure you will get the best state funeral you deserve.

Only few weeks ago you got promoted but inshallah Allah will give you the best promotion in heaven for your kindness and good deeds on earth. Rest well. Still in shock. I still remember when we were kids in Lasso Wharf Street Banjul ndeysan.

The Ansarudeen UK and Yama Camara who is sister to the deceased regret to announce the sad demise of their sister, cousin, mother and auntie OUMIE CAMARA may her beautiful soul rest in peace.

This sad news occurred in the early hours of thursday morning in TURKEY.
