This podcast highlights how individuals with learning disabilities can lead fulfilling lives when given the right opportunities. Each episode features a different guest with a learning disability, each from diverse backgrounds, sharing their unique stories, remarkable achievements, and the vibrant lives they lead. 🥰

This week, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to April, when we participated in our very first exhibit at the North East Expo, hosted by Fresh Start Events in partnership with the North East Chamber of Commerce.
What. A. Day. It was incredible to bring our 'pop-up podcast' concept to life, and it was a huge success!😍
We offered all visitors a complimentary 5-minute recording session with Ashleigh to discuss their businesses and goals. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and businesses and forging some truly exciting connections.🤩
A few months later, after a lot of hard work behind the scenes, we were thrilled to release all 28 episodes recorded on the day. The feedback from our guests was heartwarming, and we were delighted to hear how much they enjoyed their episodes and the impact it had on their marketing efforts. 💖

This time, we're gonna rewind back to November 2023 when we worked with the lovely bunch over at Project Groundwater Northumbria to produce their podcast, 'The PGN Podcast'. 🎙️
This podcast has one simple but powerful mission: to normalise the conversation around flooding. From what goes on behind the scenes to unraveling the mysteries that often surround flood events, it dives deep into what it’s really like to experience flooding or protect your home from it. 🌊
We LOVED working with the incredibly talented and knowledgeable Meshi Taka CEng FICE MWES and Carl Hodgson to create this podcast, as well as all of their fantastic guests.🧡
🧠 Our flock learned SO much during production and post-production about the impacts of flooding—something that can affect anyone, anywhere.

We had the privilege of welcoming the wonderful team at Curious Matter Productions into our studio recently. They were searching for the perfect place to pop up and and record their brand-new podcast, which focuses on prison life and the criminal justice system, as well as tales of personal challenges.
We're thrilled to announce that their podcast, Hope in Hell Podcast, has just launched with its inaugural episode, 'The First 24 Hours - A Life in Prison and Beyond'. Hosted by actor and presenter Chris Connel, alongside co-host Gary Crooks, CEO of Positive Directions N.E. - CIC, this podcast dives deep into the lives of those who have faced hardships, battled their demons, and navigated their mistakes. It's gritty, powerful, and incredibly real.
It was an honour for our team to collaborate with Curious Matter Productions and help bring this podcast to life. We remember being so moved by the incredible stories that unfolded on set, and we're SO excited to finally share their launch with you.
New episodes of 'Hope in Hell' will be released every fortnight. We’ll be tuning in for each episode, and we highly recommend you do the same. Don’t miss out on these compelling stories!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Lexie to our studio for a week-long work experience placement. From day one, Lexie showed so much enthusiasm for learning, and we've really enjoyed teaching her the ins and outs of our thriving podcast studio.🎙️
During her placement, Lexie had the opportunity to:
🎥 Shadow our team on two major productions with wonderful returning clients.
💻 Learn basic editing processes using Premiere Pro.
🎙️ Record and edit her very own podcast episode, using our Rodecaster and Rode Mics.
📲 Shadow our Podcast Marketer, Chloe, to understand the basics of marketing and social media management.
It has been so amazing to see Lexie's confidence grow throughout the week as she became more comfortable with the flock. 🦩
We really admire her eagerness to learn, and we are confident she has a bright future ahead in media.🤩

What. A. Day!😍 The flock had SO much fun at the NWG (Northumbrian Water Group)'s Innovation Festival yesterday!🎪
In our own private dome at the festival, we were with our wonderful clients, Project Groundwater Northumbria, to record a very special, one of a kind pop up podcast.🎙️
We had awesome chats with loads of different folks about flooding, flood risks, and busted some myths too, recording over twenty episodes!😮
It was fantastic meeting and chatting with Angela MacOscar, Head of Innovation at NWG (Northumbrian Water Group), as well as having the opportunity to chat to many familiar and new faces.🫶🏻
Our flock truly had the most amazing time, the energy was IMMENSE, the people were wonderful and we cannot wait to (hopefully) visit the festival again next year.🥰

Samantha and her team ‘Flamingo-Vertax Rockets’ played AMAZINGLY and even made it to the semi-finals, eventually coming 3rd out of the 18 teams there today.🏆
The flock had SO MUCH fun cheering Samantha on from the stands and we’re so proud of her for taking part in such an important fundraisers for St Oswald’s Hospice! 🫶🏻
It was also so great for us to see Swarm and Opencast there who were also taking part.❤️

It was laughs all around on Monday as we recorded the second episode of Mamma Social - The Podcast!😍
It's been so much fun working with these lovely ladies for the past two weeks, we just LOVE it when they grace our studio with their presence!🥰
Recording the podcast is also the PERFECT remedy for combatting the dreaded Monday fatigue because the whole crew are bursting with energy from all the laughter!🤣
This week was also EXTRA special as we all celebrated the podcast reaching #22 in the 'parenting' podcast charts over the weekend!🎉
