🚀✅Six ways I have used AI this week -' Joined Up' Thinking for growth 👇

✅Like most people, I'm using AI tools (for example, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini ) more and more to help me do many different tasks. Initially, I used them to do what digital marketing people call 'Ideation'. Now, I'm trying to automate tasks to help my productivity.

➡The key to getting the best from AI tools is providing clear, specific, and well-organized information that helps it understand the relevant context, the purpose, and the desired outcome of the task.

Here are six things AI did to help me this week:

✅It wrote a draft promotional email to my list from the notes ( bullet points ) I gave it.

✅It wrote draft minutes/action points of a meeting from my hand written notes.

✅It generated some niche SEO keywords and metadata for a website.

✅It drafted some alternative calls to action for a social media post.

✅It gave me the exact instructions for setting up a new online account.

✅On the personal front, it helped me to find exactly the right car part to order; I uploaded a picture of the label on a car part I was researching and a picture of a table showing the likely dates of manufacture for that part. It cross-referenced the two images and told me the exact part number I needed and the date of manufacture.

🔢 Client Acquisition in Numbers 🔢 My Formula: How Professional Services Businesses Can Get One New Client Per Month; 👇

Once you have a clear strategy, a good brand, and a clear offering (That's the first thing I work on with clients ), these are the targets you need to hit. As always, it's about consistency. (This formula applies to each client-facing team member, so it is a per-person calculation.)

This is what you need to do on Linkedin.

🔗 make 15-20 targeted daily connections = 100 weekly = 400 monthly . 100 per week is the maximum the free version of Linkedin allows
✅ make time to consistently engage with your target's content daily
💼 on average, the connection acceptance rate will be 30% = 120 new connections monthly.
📊 'Interested' prospects will average 5% according to research= 6
🔄 assuming a conversion rate of 25% = >1 new client per month. Your conversion rate will vary a little. The best I have ever seen is 50%, but many people can get it to 35%. ( There is plenty of work we can do to help you improve )

✅ You must also post high-quality content that consistently targets client pain points. This will help you establish authority, build trust, and attract the right prospects.

✅You should do this using my 321 ratio and at a frequency of at least once per week. Consistency matters more than frequency, though.

✅ It's better to choose a frequency that allows you to focus on the quality of your content and engage with other people's content. Allocate your time well.

You also need a proactive, multi-channel strategy integrating LinkedIn with things like:
✉️ Email Campaigns
🤖 Automation Tools
✅ other Social Media Channels
🤝 Networking - using LinkedIn as a follow-up tool.

✅ It was good to catch up with long-standing client Rogerson and the ABM Ltd team on Thursday to help them better tell their unique story on LinkedIn.

✅ This was the second workshop part 2 of building a pipeline of new projects.

✅ I don't offer training courses. All the workshops I do are bespoke to my client's needs.

✅ I don't get too hung up on calling it a 'Pipeline' or a 'Funnel', although I prefer the latter as it's wide at the top and narrow at the other end. That means it better reflects the work and patience you need to get prospects to convert.

✅ABM Ltd was established in the 1980s. They are Project management and process engineers for the liquid, process, and packaging industries. They work in Breweries, Dairy, Biotech, and other Process Industries. Bespoke software development is also a key part of their work.

➡I've set them their 'homework,' and we have agreed on the targets and measures - there is even a prize for the best team member on LinkedIn. I'm looking forward to the next workshop, where we will review the results.

🚀 What is the ideal posting frequency for Linkedin, TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube 🚀👇

Last week, I discussed the ideal length for posts on the major networks. This week, I want to talk about frequency.

I get asked about this a lot. A recent survey from Neil Patel ( message me, and I'll send you the link to the full survey ) was based on an analysis of 2,384,083 pieces of content, and the findings were interesting.

✅ on X (Twitter ), you should post at least 3 times daily.

✅ On Instagram, Post/Reels – 1 to 2 times daily. Stories – 2 to 4 a day.
Live – at least once a week… ideally 2 or 3 times.

✅ For LinkedIn, Post – 1 a day

✅ For TikTok, ideally, 1 to 3 times a day, but closer to the 3 mark than the 1 mark.

✅ For YouTube, post 1 short-form video (YouTube shorts) and 1 long-form video daily. But make sure you don’t post them back-to-back… spread them out by at least 5 hours.

✅ With Facebook, as so often, things are different. It doesn't seem to matter !! Most content on Facebook gets low engagement and is known to be one of the worst-performing networks (for organic reach). Perhaps that's because Facebook has a very mature advertising platform. Groups are also the core of the modern-day Facebook experience.

IMPORTANT CAVEAT: These are the current benchmarks and ideals. My advice is to build up to these. Consistency and quality matter most of all.

🚀 What is the ideal content length for Linkedin, TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube 🚀👇

It was interesting to read Neil Patel's latest thoughts on this (there is a link to his article in the first comment ). His survey, which was based on a sample size of 2,384,083 pieces of content, produced interesting findings.

✅ on X (Twitter ), if the content is motivational, you should keep your text around 14 to 21 words. But if your content is focused on entertainment, 9 to 35 words performed the best. For educational content, 173 words long on average, performed the best.

Interestingly, Text, on average, performed better than Video in the sample they analyzed.

✅ On Instagram, when publishing reels, assuming their focus is entertainment, 11 to 17-second-long videos performed the best. Users preferred educational videos that were 38—to 51 seconds long. Carousels should be 7 to 10 slides long. The key is to use a hook on slides 1 and 2. Just having a hook on slide one isn’t enough… the engagement won’t be as high.

✅ For LinkedIn, Short-form videos should be 40 to 46 seconds long and contain a sentence or two of text-based content with a hook.
Long-form videos should be 3 to 4 minutes long. You can go up to 10 minutes on LinkedIn, but videos that were 3 to 4 minutes long performed better than those that were longer.

For a text post, if the text is motivational, it should be 20 to 38 words long, but if you are focusing on educational content, 291 words long performed the best on average.

✅ For TikTok, entertaining videos 18 to 31 seconds long create the most engagement. But if your focus is educational content, videos 42 to 54 seconds long generate more engagement.

✅ For YouTube, Shorts should be 28 to 33 seconds long if entertaining. And 41 to 57 seconds long if educational. Long-form videos performed the best if they were, on average, 7 minutes and 9 seconds long

✅ With Facebook, as so often, things are different. It didn’t matter if the content was short or long. The survey couldn’t find a certain length to help drive more engagement. Most content on Facebook gets low engagement and is known to be one of the worst-performing networks (for organic reach). Perhaps that's because Facebook has a very mature advertising platform.
