What led me more to the creative side of the industry was I started to teach myself photoshop. I had a lot of old family pictures that were beautiful but they were discoloured, with writing on them or some where even ripped in half. So I set about restoring them to former glory. This is still a service I offer and I know there are lots of apps out there that say they can do this but they really not that great. So contact me if you have an old pictures that you want restoring - prices are based on the level of work required.

Creating a range of Posters for the Head Office of this client - showing all the models they have in the range. There is no real message here they are just to decorate boardroom where meetings are held. I think they all came out really well. I am not going to post them all as there at 16 of them but here is a just a few.

I was really enjoying the illustrative work and was asked by a local band if I could create characters of them really just for fun. It turned out great and a logo to go along with it. It completely suits them and it was sure a lot of fun.

This project was just before Covid but I want to share it - it really was something new for me involving illustrations I created in adobe illustrator. Health and Safety Posters for the training room at this clients head office. They really do stand out with a very simple but strong H&S message.

Sister website for Domestic Bliss Cheshire - they wanted to break out into the Commercial Cleaning Sector but still wanted to associated with their domestic cleaning business and its exceptional reputation. So the website was created to look very like the original site with some association.

I have just started to work on a 2023 wall planner - I produce this every year for this client. It's for use in the both the offices in the UK and also sent out to their dealership. It has to be easy to use - it details all the events and shows that are taking place, where the client is exhibiting and also the dealers. We also like to show any new products. And it's huge A1 in size which is really helpful for making notes on. Anyway here is a previous years ... as 2023 is WIP. By the way the empty box is where all the dealers get their information overprinted. - there is around 20 different dealers.

So recently I have been asked to get involved with a new client. They already have a strong brand identity and a great product. My role within the team is working with the marketing manager to producing to produce some stylish communications for digital marketing via email out to their database. The first is to encourage people to come and see them at the APF show.

Just recently I have been really busy updating a range of brochures for a client. Their product is excavators and they have a vast range. The Japanese company has been in the UK now for around 28 years and I have worked with them for most of that time. First as an account manager and now producing artwork and designs for their various products, events etc. It has been challenging getting to know their products and they also have a very strong brand identity and I have to work within strict guidelines when producing their marketing material. You can see here I am working in adobe indesign to create the brochure and lots of technical information is involved. I use Adobe illustrator for the diagrams of the excavator and then eventually it is exported as a pdf and printed.

It really is important to communicate with your customers as special times of the year for eg Christmas and thank them for their support. For Domestic Bliss Cheshire I produced a Christmas Card for them to post on their social media platforms and we also produced some lovely Xmas Vouchers that can be brought as gifts.

For Domestic Bliss Cheshire I created some promotional flyers that they staff could leave with clients, or could be given to local retail shops to help promote Domestic Bliss Cheshire’s services locally. Also some vouchers that can be given as a gift. Christmas Message to customers and of course we gathered some testimonials which are so valuable to have on your website or social media.

I was approached to work with Domestic Bliss Cheshire - a local domestic cleaning business based in Congleton who work all over Cheshire. I was asked to create a brand logo which was then applied to their uniforms and then to create a website where people can find out about their services which I then applied to a page. You can see how the initial logo design has been applied across all elements to create strong brand consistency.

Although for the part 30 years I have worked in many different areas including the Brewery Industry, Restaurants, Motor Trade (working with BMW dealerships) - mainly Construction is my thing - which really can be very exciting and I produce some varied work from Brochures, Digital Adverts, Posters, Calendars, Wall Planners etc .. The image is a website I created for an exciting new product - a powered wheelbarrow or Mini Dumper - which has an electric version as well. The manufacturer is a local company and have won plenty of awards for their innovative and smart design.
