Rebel We offer multi-platform media for Essex students to express ideas, creativity and skills. We can hel We’re based in the Students’ Union Creative Studios.

Rebel is a community of creative students, who produce everything from podcasts, to online articles, to TV shows. We are Rebel.

Our Mission: Rebel is the voice of the students. A place for creative expression, that's free and inclusive to all.

You can find us in the Rebel Creative Studios (Ground floor of the Silberrad Centre on Campus) where we’re always creating, leading workshops, learning, broadcasting and sharing whatever we’re passionate about. There are NO entry criteria, simply get a FREE membership from essex.su/rebel, come along for an induction and you’ll get access to:

professional equipment - iMac’s with Adobe software, Radio and TV Studios, Cameras and sound equipment.

Rebel Workshops - As often as we can, we’re holding workshops totally free of charge for you to develop skills in essential professional software and content creation skills.
