A friend of the show and someone who loved music in all forms has passed away Dario G. His heart was filled with love. My thoughts are with his friends and family. I am gutted and the music industry has lost a talent. Good night Paul thank you for your music and energy. You will live on in your music. Rest in peace!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Paul Spencer earlier today. He was positive until the end but this was one battle he could not fight anymore. He leaves behind a wonderful musical legacy and many happy memories for many people. He will be sadly missed by everyone who loved him. Shine bright our big star - K, A & H ###

It’s time for our final Rewind! But tonight we rewind the last 17 years and it’s all about Hermitage FM.

Tonight Rewind runs for 4 hours from 8pm until Midnight. At Midnight Hermitage FM will no longer broadcast. I don’t know if I am going to hold it together or be a mess by the end. I asked all our presenters to send over a message and to those that did thank you. I know a few wanted to say goodbye on their own show today.

We are now under 12 hours before we go off air. Tune in later from 8pm and join us reliving memories and some amazing music is coming your way.

I know it’s been in the press but we have some news.

This week is the final Thursday Morning Show on Hermtiage FM.

Sunday Rewind is a special 4 hours show where we have all members of Hermtiage Fm and Hermitage coffee lounge looking back in there achievements.

Without the hard work of Jan and Jon and our coffee lounge staff me and the other presenters would not be able to do what we do as they worked harder than anyone else to keep the funds coming in so we could remain on air.

A massive thank you from me and all the other presenters past and present for keeping us on air since 2008.

An incredible night at De Montfort Hall! 'Jack and the Beanstalk' delivered a delightful and surprise-filled experience. The entire cast gave stellar performances, with Scott Mills, in his first-ever panto and stepping out of his comfort zone, seamlessly being part of an experienced cast. Scott brought his personality to the stage, enhancing his character and contributing to a fully rounded performance. The vocal prowess of Sam Bailey, Mark Read, and Christina Harris was truly remarkable. Jarred Christmas had the audience in stitches with his brilliant humour and ability to bring the audience along for the adventure, while Jack Ballard's comedic flair and impressive singing voice, coupled with his vibrant stage presence, breathed life into Dame Trott. Mark Beauchamp, as the great villain hence man Fleshcreep, delivered some humorous one-liners, making him a character you love to hate. The talented ensemble cast never missed a beat, delivering on all their performances.

A night filled with laughter and sensational talent culminated in an outstanding performance that will be etched in memory!
