Exmouth's Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service 2023
Hundreds of people gathered in Exmouth to honour the town's war dead at a moving parade yesterday.
The Exmouth Town Concert Band led the parade from Imperial Road to the Strand with members of the Royal British Legion, RNLI, NCI, Sea and Marine Cadets and other community members.
Once the two-minute silence had ended, a short service took place.
Transport secretary Mark Harper says it will provide an “economic boost, not just to this community in Exeter but the wider south west region,” calling the station a “really big investment in the region.”
The first trains will go through the station tomorrow: https://trib.al/O5P8dgC
