We have a fresh handmade wreath available to collect from the farm. This is the demonstration wreath made by Sarah during Saturday’s wreath workshop.

The wreath is made using locally grown foliage, locally grown dried flowers and locally gathered pinecones 💕

Notice to all customers who have booked onto our Wreath Making Workshops on the 7th Dec and 14th Dec ! ! ! ! !

Please check your emails and make sure you reply to confirm any dietary requirements for all members of your group.

You can also message us on Facebook messenger to confirm if that is easier - but please confirm the date of your booking and the name that you used to book your tickets if co firming via messenger.

Unfortunately, if ticket holders haven’t confirmed dietary requirements prior to the date of the workshop you will be allocated a “regular” meal which could contain meat, fish, dairy, gluten etc. etc. so it is important for you to let us know.

We need to give the venue plenty of notice, so ticket holders have until noon on the Wednesday before their workshop date to confirm.

Eventbrite does ask you to confirm this when booking but no body ever does 🤣🫣

Thank you

One of the local charities that we support The Kitchen will once again be cooking and delivering low-cost, freshly prepared Christmas meals to our more vulnerable local residents this Christmas.

The charity are asking for monetary donations this year instead of donations of ingredients, so please do help out if you can 💕

The Kitchen charity team also provide free training throughout the year in things like meal preparation, budgeting and how to use slow cookers etc. which any local residents can sign up to, so give their page a follow if this is something you would be interested in having a go at.

This year we're preparing Christmas dinner for 24 local residents and we'd like to also give them all a small gift of chocolates. In addition we'll deliver a "Boxing Day" lunch just before NYE. If anyone would like to donate to our Christmas Dinner fundraiser please PayPal to [email protected] or message the page for bank details. (We do normally ask for donations of food but logistics wise this will be easier to manage, I hope you understand).

It’s almost time for the first wreath making workshop of the season 🎄

As always, we have tried to source all of our materials as locally as possible, and below is a list of where our materials came from…

• Eucalyptus (Half Acre Farm)
• Conifer (Half Acre Farm)
• Holly (Killamarsh)
• Nordman Fir (Scotland)*
• Dried Flowers (Half Acre Farm)
• Pinecones (Whitwell)

* Target for 2025 is to plant our own. In the mean time we will be looking for other local growers or perhaps team up with a local cut tree retailer.

And so begins the mammoth task of planting up the PYO tulips 😄 slow and steady wins the race right?…

14 crates down, 80 crates to go!

Remember, our tulip bulbs are planted very close together because they are grown for cut flowers as an ‘annual’ crop - if you are planting tulips in your garden given them a bit more room to grow and spread out 😉👍🏻
