As it happened: how Sunday's 'Kill the Bill' protests went from peaceful demonstration to unrest
Around 4000 protestors took to Bristol's streets on Sunday 21 March to protest against the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill currently in Parliament which would impose heavy penalties on most forms of protest.

Unlike many major national news outlets, Epigram was able to cover developments as they happened from the scene, providing a clear idea of how things escalated and why.
