As part of Grays of Westminster 40th Anniversary Celebrations, we are pleased to invite you to a special event and our first webinar of 2025, ‘Journey into the Wild’ by Nikon USA Ambassador Deborah Sandidge.

Deborah will take us on a personal journey, from photographing wildlife to travelling near and far, while exploring creative and artistic techniques and delving into the world of wildlife from a film perspective. Along the way, she will share inspirational ideas and pro tips that will enhance your photography.

As an author, educator and instructor, she aims to expand the horizons of those who enjoy her photographic artistry. This is Nikon Owner first photo walk of 2025! You will be photographing the spectacular Winter Lights at Canary Wharf. This has become a regular and popular fixture in London and will be the fifth Nikon Owner visit.

On this photo-walk, you will experience amazing light sculptures and installations created by some of the world’s most innovative artists. Some installations are returning from previous years, alongside new pieces never before seen in the UK, as well as newly commissioned artworks. The festival features pieces which can be admired from a distance, while others encourage close-up interaction.

During this walk you will explore the installations and experiment with ways to capture them, their relationship to their surroundings and how the public interact with them.
