Celebrating Two Years of Sycamore SEND Support Services
Two years ago today, Sycamore SEND Support Services was launched — and from that moment, we’ve continued to grow, evolve, and support more schools and communities with each passing month.
In today’s complex educational landscape, we’re all navigating challenges that require deep reflection and bold leadership. Now more than ever, we must ensure that Special Educational Needs (SEN) are not an afterthought but are embedded within our everyday practice, with inclusion by design at the core of all we do.
The Sycamore tree is special — its bark naturally peels away in patches, revealing a beautiful mosaic of white, grey, and green beneath. This tree perfectly represents the values Sycamore SEND is built upon: celebrating the whole child and recognising the diverse ways each individual learns. Just like the tree, every child has layers, and at Sycamore, we are passionate about discovering how to help each one thrive in their unique environment.

Together, we’ve worked across 15 Local Authorities, supporting schools and Multi-Academy Trusts with a truly holistic approach to inclusion. Whether providing strategic guidance, systemic change, or individual-level support, every setting we’ve worked with has been a privilege.
