Having had a quiet year last year, plans are in place for a fresh new start. Starting in March is the long awaited return of the Northwest Stages rally in Lancashire. This time being held on closed public roads for the first time ever. Over the Easter weekend the British GT Championship pays a visit to Oulton Park. At the end of June sees my annual pilgrimage to the British Touring Car Championship, again at Oulton Park. The end of July and early August is time for the most powerful motor sport in the world, Tractor Pulling, at Great Eccleston. October brings a trip to Wales for the World rally Championship. Finally in November is the Neil Howard Stages Rally at Oulton Park.
There are also numerous race meets at Three Sisters race track in Wigan.
This year I want to try my hand at other forms of sports photography including speedway and horse racing.
Away from motor sport is a two week trip to the north west of Scotland spending a lot of time on the magical Isle of Skye.
