It’s a busy time of year coming up! Love it or hate it, Christmas is 3 months tomorrow and with it comes lots of events.
Whatever industry you’re in, usually it’s a crazy busy time so make sure you let people know what you have planned! Start posting now with ‘save the date’, get some polls going, see what your followers want. It’s rare that people can drop everything to attend a last minute event or take advantage of an offer so make sure they know about it in advance!

We’re back! First of all, huge thanks to those of you who have stuck around, I really appreciate it! Life has really been ‘lifing’ this year between a new role at work, opening and subsequently closing a shop, expanding our current clothing retail offering and most importantly, Mumming the not so littles, I felt I couldn’t take on any more clients than those I already worked with.
However, after lots of holidays and embracing the new school term, we’re back to routine and I find myself with time on my hands! Sooooooo… I’m opening up a couple of spaces to new clients!

A question on a lot of lips… why outsource your social media management? Why not just do it yourself, it doesn’t take long right?

Maybe… if you’re lucky enough to be able to pop up a post in seconds, great! But more often than not I hear from people who are super passionate about their business but just don’t have the time to regularly shout about it on their socials! They’re busy with the day to day business management, staffing, invoices, the dreaded tax returns or the hard graft on a daily basis.

Outsourcing, whether it be just a couple of posts a week, story engagement or message handling, takes away the added pressure… it also means a steady flow of fresh ideas and someone to project your passion!

Absolutely thrilled to have been asked to work with a local charity in our community here in

Chippenham Hospital League of Friends do so much yet don’t shout about it enough! They’ve provided fetal dopplers for the maternity ward, ‘Baby Lifeline’ bags for the community midwives to assist in home births, a light projector for the birthing suite, ‘Dysphagia’ cups for stroke patients on the Mulberry Ward enabling them to safely drink hot liquids and a new trolley for the hospital shop to name just a few!

You’d be forgiven for thinking that this all comes from the NHS but no… this is all funded through the hard work of this amazing local charity and the generosity of supporters! Really looking forward to working with such a fab team and raising awareness of their incredible work!

Crazy to think we’re almost into the last quarter of 2023! If you’re in the retail or hospitality industry you’re no doubt gearing up for your busiest months but remember… don’t let your social media slip! Make a plan!

What will you post & when? What’s the call to action? Remember - life is busy, if you’re putting on events, plan ahead and give your followers plenty of notice! Get bookings in now to ease the pressure later.
Fully stocked for the festive season but still a little early to promote? Unboxing teasers in stories with sneak peeks will add interest and get your audience thinking! And they take seconds to do!

I get it, you’re passionate about what you do and the temptation to write your own version of war and peace in every post is real. But STOP 🛑

You can instantly increase engagement by keeping captions short! As a rule, sticking to 40 - 80 characters on Facebook can increase engagement by up to 66%, while Instagram favours 138 - 150 characters. Crazy really when you have a whopping 63,206 characters per post on facebook and 2,200 on Insta! Perfect if you want to overwhelm and disengage your following.

Keep it short and to the point! You want your audience jumping in your DM’s, not dropping off on your feed 😴

So here we are… 3 weeks in to the 6 week Summer holiday marathon for us Mums & Dads. The shine of the first couple of weeks has gone and you’re now worrying you’re not keeping up with your business socials… STOP! There are so many of us in the same boat!

The pressure to regularly post is real but why not make it easier for yourself? Let your audience in… out for the day with your tribe? Post in stories, share a selfie or a recco for a restaurant or place you’re at.

Having a tough day with the parent/work life balance? Tell your followers, be honest - you’ll be surprised how many will relate!

Regular posting needn’t mean spamming your feed with soulless sales posts just for the sake of keeping it current. Be real 💛

Well hello there August! I hope you’re bringing some sunshine!

We’re very lucky to be spending 2 weeks of August by the coast and I can’t wait! Anyone else feel calm by the sea?

When it comes to holidays you always arrange cover for your day to day business. Whether that’s a shop, cafe, pub or service you provide… physically, you’ve got it covered! So why not your socials?

After a week in the sun I’m back… and a bit chilly if I’m honest! Anyone else feel like July is broken? ☔️

As you know, I only started my little social media business a month ago. I was keen not to rush it just to make sure I could devote the required time to my lovely clients. I’m now working with a couple of local businesses on content creation, engagement and posting. It’s going really well so I wanted to open up another space to anyone who may need it!

And no, it’s not an excuse… running a business is hard and a real juggling act - I totally get that.

You have the day to day tasks, then add to that mountains of paperwork, tax returns, invoices… the list is endless! So it’s no surprise that a lot of businesses fall behind in their socials.

When you do get some downtime, try to schedule posts so you have a presence, however small. People spend on average, 2 hours 24 minutes on here so make sure you’re visible!
