Whether you need your first demo, record pre-album guides or experiment on that difficult 3rd album, Airtight can help. We also record anything from live band

to multitrack overdubs, spoken word, voice overs, soundtracks, drum takes and vocals. We also offer Production and Tuition for all music types including band demos, albums, dance tracks and soundtracks. We have 3 full band rehearsal rooms available from 10am – 11pm 7 days a week, plus drum and DJ practise rooms. All band rehearsal rooms have full backline (drums, guitar and bass amps, PA, mics). We also cymbals and a keyboard that can be hired for rehearsals. Please note that cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows will incur the full cost of the booking.

We have been asked to record the choir in order to provide a high quality audio track for the video that the organisers are making. Sounds like it will be a great day for everyone involved. Looking forward to it.

This week we had The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades in the studio recording the trailer voiceover for his forthcoming Channel 5 three part documentary series The Midlands Through Time. So if you see the trailer on TV, the voiceover was recorded here.

We have just finished recording the audiobook The Rise of the Dragon by George R R Martin for Penguin Random House. The book was narrated by Harry Lloyd. For those who know about Game of Thrones the book is the history of House Targaryen.

Well done to Henry and Carl who handled all the recording work, which was arranged at short notice over the past two weeks after about 50 emails between numerous people at Penguin Random House and us.

Today we have received some devastating news that in 1 year's time, our Landlord is trying to evict us, forcing us to close.

Since 1980 The Leadmill has spent millions of pounds on what was a derelict warehouse, transforming it into one of the U.K’s most respected venues where countless acts from across the globe have performed over the years.
